Tips Fencing Tips?
I’m trying to become a wattson main and learn kbm at the same time. I find myself just “panic placing” my fences. How should I implement using fences in fights?

Either you play aggro and place a first node on the ground and place fences while running towards the enemie to then quickly trap them. Easier that way then react fencing randomly and hope you hit them. Other way is to not over defend a area and make enemies forget they play against Watson. When they hit you with good damage and push you blindly, you bait behind a cover and place a fence to trap them

Practice using fences in fights. The more often you do, the better you'll become. Fencing takes a lot of gamesense that might not come naturally

Lamic’s guide helped me a lot when I first started playing Wattson.
What makes her so fun in my opinion, is the amount of creativity you can express through her gameplay.
The more you play Wattson, the more you’ll start to form your own style.
If any of the different fence techs in that guide are new to you, I’d suggest focusing a gaming sess on honing just one of them.
Then rinse and reapeat.
It should help broaden your horizon and open up your fencing gameplay.
I hope this helps!
Good luck!

the more you use her, the more you pick up on common reactions to basic fences, like across a door or opening, and can start to play around that.
for instance, if you have a door/opening fenced off, leave a node on the outside so when someone comes to peek or break the fence, you make the perpendicular fence and catch them. making these fences (straight lines in front of you as opposed to side to side) catches a lot of people off guard ime.
if you’re behind cover like a crate and someone is pushing you, setting a fence up around the crate on the other side can catch them off guard as well.
honestly it’s a lot of fun trying to catch people mid fight as opposed to just controlling an area and hoping they just walk into it. i feel like most players assume once they’re in an up close 1v1 with a wattson, they don’t have to worry about fences anymore.
