Romance Is Dead: turn-based tactics where your skeletons throw their own limbs -would love your feedback!

Play here: https://chaostheorygames.itch.io/romance-is-dead

I just released Romance Is Dead: a turn-based tactics game x gothic romance, set in a graveyard.

You died 666 years ago. You're back from the dead, and completing a ritual that brings your dead wife back too. You play as a necromanacer and get to raise skeletons, hold the gates against the fearful townsfolk, and have your skeletons throw their arms, legs, and heads to buy you more time.

Would love any feedback! It's the first time I've shared the game publicly.

Autonomous Hero Base – a base-defence game where your heroes act and fight on their own (30 vs 30 battles, no sign-up)

Thumbnail hero.blomi.co.kr
• Upvotes

Dev here. You don't control the heroes – they mine, hunt, rest and fight on their own. You build the base and pick who goes into battle.

The link opens a trial base with 30 heroes, no account needed, so you can jump straight into a 30 vs 30 legion war.

Free, no real money, no crypto. Works in desktop and phone browsers (phone in landscape). If something gets confusing, I'd really like to hear where.

Shipwrecker.io – sink other ships, steal their gold and grow from a raft to a Dreadnought. Looking for playtesters! (the game is multiplayer)

I've been building this multiplayer game for a while now. You fire cannons, pick a class (hook other ships, ram into them, or lay oil tracks and set it on fire), and grow your ship as you loot.

I'm looking for playtesters and honest feedback, especially on balancing the classes and abilities. Join the Discord if you want to help shape it 🙂

Population Decides: I made a game where you set the UK Budget and then face the voters

Made this myself. Free, no sign up, works fine on a phone. Quick mode is six questions, or you can do every tax and department, and there’s a five year mode with crises and PMQs if you want to see if you survive. Still in beta so any feedback is really welcome.

Chess Twist: standard chess on an irregular board

Thumbnail

The rules are standard chess, but the board is an irregular grid. This makes rook lines bend, bishop lines fork, knights very sneaky and queens even more powerful. There are thousands of board layouts, a board builder, and multi-player.

That’s the easy kind. My game NEGMEX has a daily cipher, and the Very Hard mode stacks 5 layers of encryption. If you enjoy this kind of thing, you can try it free in your browser

What’s the hardest cipher you’ve solved?

I made a daily trivia game that looks exactly like an Excel spreadsheet, so you can play it at work

Thumbnail
q4forecast.com
1 Upvotes

Every day there are 5 "guess the number" questions: box office totals, distances, heights, years. Everyone gets the same 5, you get one attempt, and there's a leaderboard.

The whole thing is disguised as a spreadsheet called Q4_Forecast_FINAL_v3. Press Esc and it switches to a boring budget sheet. There are also Inbox and Task Board skins if your office doesn't use Excel.

No sign-up needed. Would love feedback on the questions and the scoring.

I made this. Five real bible passages in plain English, each beside the best defence christians give for it. You stamp each one PASS or FAIL and get a numbered certificate. Five minutes, no signup, nothing to download: https://inspectthebible.com/play?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=webgames&utm_content=webgames-launch

Post your certificate number below. I want to see who was commended the most. And tell me if anything broke on your phone.

Nessuna Classe [RPG] - a dark fantasy idle RPG where your class comes from how you fight (free browser demo, no signup)

Hi! I'm the solo dev. You wake up at the edge of a well under a village, and a Tower goes down for over 100 floors. There's no class to pick: your skills grow with what you actually use, and that becomes your class.

The demo has the first 22 Tower floors and the first section of the Cursed Forest, plus the village, the forge mini-games, runes, pets and companions. Saves carry over to the full game.

Art and music were made with AI tools; story, design and code are mine. It's in English and Italian. Any feedback is welcome!

I made Battledle, a daily Wordle-style game where you name the battle from its tactical map. It now has five more modes: raids, paintings, commanders, wars by their flags, and ranking battles

Thumbnail
battledle.com
1 Upvotes

A couple of weeks ago I shared Battledle, a Wordle-style game where you guess a historical battle from its tactical map with the name hidden. Lots of you played it and sent feedback, which really helped. Since then I've added five new daily modes:

  • Battle Ranks: you get a series of battles and you have to choose the category you think they rank highest in, like Oldest, Most troops, Deadliest, etc.
  • Special operations & raids: commando raids, rescues and daring operations, from an image that could be a map, painting, or photo.
  • Paintings & photos: name the battle from a famous painting or photo of it.
  • Commanders: guess the general or admiral.
  • Wars: guess the war from the flags of its main sides.

The main game is still there of course: one map a day, land and naval battles from Thermopylae to Desert Storm. The maps are real tactical maps, from public-domain military atlases (West Point, US Army official histories, old British maps) and Wikimedia Commons. Each guess gives colour coded clues on Year, Fame, location, Troops, Losses, War and Belligerents. There are helplines if you get stuck, and you can play the last week's puzzles in every mode.

It's still free, with no ads and no sign-up. Which mode is your favourite, and which is too easy or too hard?

Hexweave: a survivors-like where you fuse spells into new ones. Plays in the browser

Thumbnail
kendromaro.itch.io
2 Upvotes

Game title: Hexweave

Playable link: https://kendromaro.itch.io/hexweave

Platform: browser and Windows, keyboard/mouse or controller

Description: A survivors-like where your spells fire on their own and you decide what to combine. Fuse two elements into a new spell, chain combos, and merge two maxed spells into one big one. Each realm is a 10 minute run with a boss at the end, and between runs you spend what you found on upgrades and gear. There are 10 realms and 9 mages, and it’s in English and German.

Free to play status: F2P

Involvement: I’m the developer. Used AI (Claude) a lot for the code.

A first run is about 10 minutes. I’d really like to know how the first few minutes feel: was it clear what to do, and when (if ever) did it start being fun?

[SH] Anyone remember Boxhead: The Nightmare?

Thumbnail

Old top-down zombie shooter, and easily the peak of its series. Very fun for people who enjoy single player shooters. I was able to play it on flashmuseum, but my issue is that a chunk of the game's content is locked behind "Go to Facebook to play the full game". These links just don't work, and you can't play the full game there. I was wondering if anyone knew of an alternative that has a full working version of the game, or could point me to where I could go for that.

POOL CRITTERS! BEAT THE HEDGEHOG AT A GAME OF POOL

Thumbnail
playgama.ai
1 Upvotes

Platform: Browser (works on phone, tablet and desktop, no download or sign-up)

Description:

Pool Critters is a casual 8-ball pool game where your opponents are a club of 10 cartoon animals, and every one of them plays differently. Three are free from the start: the Goose, Spike the hedgehog who taps the cue ball with his nose, and Raty McRat who plans sneaky safety shots. Win coins to take on tougher critters: Barry the Beaver, Elsie the Elephant who cracks her trunk like a whip, the Stork, grumpy Clive the Croc, Mango the dog, a slippery Snake and spoilt Penny the Pony. Each critter has their own accuracy, tactics and personality. The first four play on a table with bigger pockets, so it’s easy to get going. Winning matches earns coins, which you spend on new opponents, cues, table cloths, hats and snooker waistcoats for the critters. The controls are simple: drag back on the table to aim and pull the cue, let go, then tap to shoot. An aiming line shows which ball you’ll hit and where it will go. It plays in portrait or landscape, and a match takes about five to ten minutes. I’d love to hear which critter beats you most!

Free to Play Status: Completely free. No purchases at all. There’s an optional video you can watch to double your coins after a match, and a short ad after every few matches.

[PZL] [PZL] Hyperhop, a daily Wikipedia race

Thumbnail
hyperhop.app
0 Upvotes

I made this wiki game called Hyperhop. Every day there's one pair of Wikipedia articles, the same for everyone, and you have a limited number of links to get from the first to the second.

A few things that might be different from other wiki games you've played:

- There's a link budget. Monday gives you 10 links, and it gets tighter through the week down to 5 on the weekend.

- Every puzzle has a known shortest route, and you see it after you finish. Yesterday's was Henry VIII to Clock, and it can be done in 2.

- It works in 15 Wikipedia languages, so you can play the Spanish, Japanese or Arabic daily with that language's articles.

If you want to play against friends instead of the clock, there are also race rooms at https://hyperhop.app/race

I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
