one of the many involved in this incident: debdeep adhikary - nephew of suvendu adhikary (cm - west bengal, bjp)

recently they ruled that pandals need to put the photo of suvendu adhikary and bjp symbol to get government funds - mind you, this wasn't there in bengal before bjp came

the entire organising committee of chorbagan durga pujo was changed to this particular group of people associated with bjp. they'll now be putting the blame on workers, labourers and the people who actually did the work with grace. these bjp people are like that - they only know to shift the blame. this is utterly shameful.

i hope bengal realises the "poriborton" it chose. i hope the whole india does too

Its a humble request to all Durga pujo organizers that please play the OG bengali songs of kishore kumar, lata Mangeshkar, asha Bhosale and many other bengali singers of old and new time.

Last 2 days i really missed those nostalgic bengali singers in almost 80-90% pandels..

Some even not playing anything..its all like a muted show.

You can keep the volume low or medium but atleast play it.. without those golden songs pujo vibe is missing.
