Released October 19, 1993:

With S.H.I.E.L.D and the Avengers deployed to Genosha, it seems that Cortez's plans have failed. With the appearance of a dangerous and powerful stranger however, things may not go the way the Avengers may hope. Is he friend of foe? - Marvel Unlimited

Another cameo by the team in this Spider-Woman story. Julia's been shot by her stalker and the team is taking care of her.

No surprise Agent is very protective!

Simon, still reeling from the Infinity War, unleashes his anger on a gang with advanced weaponry. Unknown to him at the time, the gang is sponsored by a cimelord who is seeking to create chaos through their actions.

None of that excuses Simon beating a man to death, of course...

This issue was released October 13, 1992.

I didn't read this series but why does it feel like it's 'Marvel's X-Files but for magic?'

Fun fact: Tigra has crashed two Avengers quinjets while dealing with Dr. Demonicus in two storylines separated by six years.

Exhibit A: IRON MAN #193 (January 15, 1985)

Exhibit B: AVENGERS WEST COAST #73 (June 4, 1991)

“Moon Knight is hot on the trail of the sinister Cornelius Van Lunt - but considering that Van Lunt is Taurus of the late great Zodiac cartel, Moon Knight may find more than he bargained for!”

“Ultron has returned, and his first stop is the West Coast! With the automaton set on humanity’s extermination, will Ultron come into conflict with the West Coast Avengers? You bet!”

Avengers West Coast 101 (the penultimate issue): “Going against the UN's orders, the Avengers team arrives on Genosha. Soon after arriving, the team is met with a powerful man with a familiar vendetta against humans. It seems the team may be in for the fight of their lives!” - Marvel Unlimited

Uncanny X-Men 307: “Beast, Xavier and USAgent defend themselves against the Genoshan Magistrates. Meanwhile, Sersi and Exodus battle it out while Quicksilver and Jean Grey look for a way into Genosha's capital to save Luna from Cortez's clutches.” - Marvel Unlimited

To elaborate more, what story from the teams history, in a 4 film arc, a trilogy, or even a duo-logy if you want could bring a lot more people to the character?

You can bring up anything:

-any comic that hasn’t been done before on screen.

Example: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty Arc. I know that was the reported plan before they switched to doomsday, but still.

-any comic that has been done before, but you want it to be done better or done justice.

Example: Batman: No Man’s Land Arc

Nolan kind of tackled this in the dark knight rises, but it wasn’t as fleshed out as the comic.

Or just a mix of A lot of stories into a run trilogy that could bring people into a character-defining trilogy.

I love to hear what people suggest.

I’d also love to hear what animation style this hypothetical trilogy would use, so it isn’t just Live Action.

I love to hear what everyone brings to the table!

The last issue before Byrne took over.

It also saw Moon Knight depart the book.

“Iron Man has a plan to use an escaped villain to lead himself and Living Lighting to three missing Avengers, but when he finds the demon known as Stannish, all plans go out the window!” - Marvel Unlimited
