In Old English sq means squirt and uid is derived from fuid which used to mean a form of fish and thus we call it a sq-uid. I just made all that up so I hope you're still reading.

That went straight up his nose. I'm not sure what that smells like, but I'm guessing it's not pleasant. He wasn't sure whether to gag or laugh, rarely see that combo
