Day Pass Discounts

Is it possible to get any further discounts/reductions on the day pass? Can season pass/epic holders help or anybody who has been to whistler previously help? Looking to buy a 2 day unrestricted pass. Thank you!

Why not just buy a 2 day edge card?

There are no discounts on passes.

Season Pass Holders can get you Buddy / Friend tickets if they purchased their pass before like June or something. But that's not cheaper than a Pass.

Staff can give you a 50% off window price ticket if they're nice (post on FB groups).

Passes - the price is the price. Lots of people say you can get cheaper from travel agents but thats not something I can help with.

A few ways to bring it down:

  1. Buy the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass ahead of the season rather than lift tickets. It's the 1 to 10 day product, you pick whether you want holiday access, and it's a lot cheaper than window prices. Their pass page says pass prices go up October 7, so if you're going that route, do it now.

  2. If you're a Canadian or Washington State resident, look at the EDGE Card (2, 5, or 10 days). That's usually the cheapest per day.

  3. Yes, a friend with a pass can help. Eligible Epic Pass holders get Epic Friend Tickets, which are 50% off the window price for anyone 13 and up. Whistler Blackcomb season passholders get Bring A Friend tickets instead, and those get redeemed at the ticket window at the resort. An Epic Day Pass doesn't come with any.

Whatever you do, don't wait to buy at the window. In-season tickets are limited and they recommend buying online at least a week ahead.

Limited? Lol. Crock of shit.

Vail announced a capacity limit at WB a couple years back after crowding complaints finally got some attention from them. They will not declare whatever the number is and have never reached it. They will ALWAYS sell you a $350 day ticket.

I've heard of people hiking up to big red and from there you can avoid the ticket Nazis
