Deep Lore Discussion What was the Superstructure/substructures like when they were first discovered?

And how much of what we see was made by humanity? I know the PCR's were already there (except one humanity built), but were all the interiors already there as well (labs, hab, transit lines, structures on the sides of the substructures, etc.)? Or like the drainage system and all the innerworkings, was that there already or did we create all that as well? I've scoured the wiki, but there seems to be very little on the Superstructure as a whole, which I know is somewhat intentional, but idk if the devs have spilled more that the wiki missed. I'm technically in the discord, but huge servers aren't really my thing and trying to talk there is nigh impossible.

Most of the superstructure like silos, pipeworks, the habs, are all natural superstructure environments. The only man made things are the handholds, the terminals, and probably the tram lines in abyss that allowed traversal to different area throughout the structure.

With that said, IMO the nest definitely seems more developed/encamped by humans as seen by mothers prison and the labs, and I believe as we go deeper into the core we will see more developed areas of the structure with more human involvement.

Considering SAPS is at least partially a biologically engineered machine, and the researchers were intending to use the Mass to develop more stuff like SAPS, i'm assuming the systems were human made.
