Hi! I’m Victoria, I know there are a lot sorting games out there but very few of them are cozy. So I tried my hand at making one. You get to organise 3000 objects and find their home. I find these games super relaxing. We recently launched our Steam page and we’re hoping for your support 🙌🏼

CatMania - cozy artist cat sim in production

• Upvotes

Hi!

What's a girl gonna do after a few months of seeing the job market crisis first-hand, especially in the tech stack she'd been working with for oh-so-many years?

For over 8 months now, I've been building CatMania, a cozy life sim about living with cats, and turning their quirks into art.

You share your home with a family of cats, each with their own personality, habits and needs. Look after them, get to know them, and turn the moments they share with you into paintings and sculptures. Sell your work, build your reputation as an artist, and grow your home around the cats who inspire you.

The cats are the point. Every one of them has needs, moods and relationships - with you, and with each other. They have character, and it has consequences: if you buy a fancy decoration instead of an extra food bowl, a week later you may get hungry, unhappy cats, breaking stuff and fighting with each other, or with you.

Please check out and consider wishlisting on Steam:

We’ve already kicked off the development of a new, higher-quality project, but before diving completely into it, we polished up our very first game about collecting seashells and decided it’s finally time to release it to the world!

We’d love for you to try ut our demo and share your feedback. We would also be incredibly grateful if you added the game to your wishlist—it would mean the world to us and help support our work.

Thanks a bunch in advance! ❤️

I made a cozy game about a lonely dung beetle who rolls his way to new friends

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on Lonely Dung Beetle, a small cozy game where you play the only dung beetle around.

You roll a ball that picks up everything it touches, crack open dung to find little treasures, and slowly meet neighbours like an old owl, a snail with an overgrown garden and a very proud bee queen. Each friend teaches you something new, and the world keeps opening up.

Free to start:

  • The first 10 library stories and every new Daily Story are free.
  • Later library stories use optional monthly or one-time Lifetime Premium.
  • Hint videos are opt-in; there are no banner, interstitial, or mandatory ads.

Puzzles and stories are in English. AI-assisted tools were used during development and for some story illustrations.

I'm making a cozy game about healing an animal village as a rabbit shaman — free demo

I'm the developer of Applied Shamanism. You play a rookie rabbit shaman: use spirit vision to investigate animal patients' strange illnesses, gather and grow ingredients, then brew their remedies. No combat or timers.

The free Windows demo is already available, and we're joining Steam Next Fest on October 19–26. If you'd like to try it, the demo and wishlist button are on our Steam page:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4434480/Applied_Shamanism/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=video_post&utm_campaign=codex_nextfest_oct2026&utm_content=wholesomegames_rabbit_20261019

Here's a short look at the village and the shaman's work. I'd love to hear how the diagnosis and brewing feel if you give the demo a go.

Just made this new Halloween teaser video for our ice fishing game 🎃👻

We were feeling "Halloweeny" lately, so we decided to make this little video that shows this level in our game. A spooky level with pumpkins, lanterns, a scarecrow, skulls, and even a hidden cemetery that you can find if you search enough. 🎃 Oh and there are special fish, too! 🐟🐠🐡

The game's demo will be showcased in the Steam Next Fest tomorrow and it's available on Windows, Mac, Linux and Steamdeck, so we invite you to give it a try.

A summary of our project:

Ice Pond: An Ice Fishing Adventure is a cute but true ice fishing game. 🎣❄ Pick a spot and fish! Level up, get stronger, and buy gear and power-ups to boost your performance. Join tournaments and festivals to unlock new lakes. Do odd jobs or challenges to earn extra cash!

Made by a small team of 2, boyfriend & girlfriend, who are making games since 2005. 😊

Maybe the world hasn't noticed this little game yet. Or maybe it's simply not as good as I think it is.
But I'm still here, building it, one day at a time.
And next week, Map 4 arrives.

I made a slow, no-timer fuse-bead game where ironing the beads is the best part

**Game Title:** Slow Beads – a no-timer fuse-bead game where ironing the beads is the best part

**Playable Link:** https://slowbeads.niceday-app.com

**Platform:** Browser (no install)

**Description:**

Hi! I'm the solo developer of Slow Beads, a cozy browser game about fuse beads (Perler/Hama style).

Most bead games are about filling colors fast with boosters. I wanted the opposite: place beads one at a time, then lay down ironing paper and drag the iron across to watch each bead melt together. No timers, no fail states, no energy.

**What's in it:**

- 29 patterns (seasonal ones too) + turn your own photo into a pattern (processed locally, never uploaded)

- Ironing with steam and sound, rain/fireplace/café ambience

- Finished pieces become wall art, keychains, and coasters for your little house

- A balcony garden, a 20-second tea ritual, and a bedtime mode that fades to rain sounds

- Export a numbered pattern card + color list to make it with real beads

Instead of a score, it tracks "minutes spent slow-beading."

**Accounts and saving:** Your progress is saved in your browser, no account needed. Signing in with Google is optional and adds cloud save plus friends, likes and a leaderboard (those are brand new, so it's quiet in there for now).

**Ads:** Optional rewarded videos can give bonus buttons (in-game currency). There are never ads while you place or iron beads.

Available in English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Privacy policy: https://slowbeads.niceday-app.com/privacy

I'd love feedback, especially on how the ironing feels and whether placing beads on mobile is comfortable.

After more than five months of work, my quiet little game Memory House has a free Steam demo

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone. I’m from Tajikistan, and I’ve been working on Memory House for more than five months. Today I finally released the free demo on Steam.

I wanted to make a house where I’d enjoy spending time myself. You can work on a jigsaw, read an illustrated book, or write in your own journal. There’s rain outside the windows and a fireplace to sit beside.

The demo includes jigsaws, selected reading, the journal, and the first era of a turn-based strategy game. I’m still improving it, but it feels good to finally let people try it.

The Steam link and screenshots are in the original post. I’m also sharing progress at r/GermesStudio. If you give the demo a try, I’d love to hear what you enjoyed or what got in your way.

For transparency, I use generative AI to help with code, illustrations, and writing.

Hey everyone!

I'm a solo indie developer working on The Borderless, a cozy island management sim where you build and decorate your own floating island, welcome visitors, go fishing, swim, throw parties, enjoy various activities, and create your little paradise in the middle of the ocean.

After receiving a lot of helpful feedback on my demo, I reworked the building mechanics, UI, visuals, and overall gameplay experience.

Here's the new trailer showing how the game looks now!

I'd love to hear what you think! What would you enjoy doing most on your own floating island?

The Borderless has a free demo on Steam if you'd like to try it:

We made a tidy up game set in a pop-up book with 5,648 papercraft treasures and 500+ unique hand-drawn items. No Gen AI

We have created Folded Fables: Tidy Up The Dragon Hoard... a tidy up game set in a pop-up storybook. It is like Paper Mario meets Librarian.

Your fable begins when a dragon challenges you to organize 5,648 papercraft treasures and tally every last item. Level up and unlock new skills along the way in this Tidy Up game. Play solo or tidy up together with friends.

Our game contains no generative AI content. Some people may specifically wonder about the art used for the items because tidy-up games need a lot of unique items. We are using art from two of our games: Crusaders of the Lost Idols and Bush Whacker 2. Each and every one of the 500+ unique items in Folded Fables was drawn by one of our artists over the past 14 years.

Many of the in-game pieces, such as the pop-up book sequence, started as physical paper models before being recreated digitally. Even the Folded Fables logo was physically hand-folded with paper before being photographed for use in-game. If you want to know more, there are a bunch of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos on our Discord.

Throughout the creation of this game, I've often said that it is a labor of love. But looking back, I think it's better to say this game is an expression of love. It expresses my lifelong love of pop-up books and papercraft. It also reflects our love for the studio's unique art style, sense of humor, and the incredible games we can make together. It also reflects our love for video games as an art form, and how they constantly evolve into new genres, such as tidy up games.

Our goal was to bring these threads together to create something greater than the sum of their parts: a beautiful game where people feel happy, relaxed, and calm.

I've been making a tiny village builder where the villagers have opinions about everything

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

It's called Busybodies. Heavily inspired by my love of The Settlers. You point at a patch of land and the villagers fetch what's needed, build it and then talk about it at length. When it rains they all head to the tavern. There's a cow who refuses to move off the road. You can have tea with the villagers and they remember what you told them.

It's free in the browser, no download: playbusybodies.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=cozygames

Best on a laptop or tablet. I'm a solo designer, so any feedback helps.
