I dont know him neither do I follow either of these humans but from the screenshot shared here its clear that he was absolutely NOT criticising Navratri or any festival of any clan or religion. Infact in simple words he conveyed the plight of women in the same country which worships goddesses in the CONTEXT of navratri. Learn languages, improve the skill of comprehension in your free time than defending gods. Gods dont need your protection. Sheesh

But we are expected to comprehend properly and be secular ? I am Hindu and I have worshiped Hindu gods all my life and I will compare my religion teachings with how people of my religion behaves.
Also, other religion don’t have goddesses. Hinduism is one of the very few religion that have goddesses and in a country where people’s critical thinking is absent, including religious teaching is only way to teach how to respect women.
