Wing Questions or Discussion Wings Etc. Was it always terrible?

Haven't been to one in ages. Went for a work lunch today. It was like you gave an alien the ingredients and asked him to do his best. The wings were sitting in a 1" thick layer of sauce on the top and nothing underneath. Like how does a wing restaurant not know how to toss wings? I got garlic parm and a hot buffalo and they were both bad. On top of all that, the service was terrible (and the place was dead).

Beautiful description. It's amazing when the one thing a restaurant is supposed to be great at is trash. Suprising they are still open.

No notes, this is my experience every time and I go about once a month.

My theory is they know what they are and dominate the sports bar market in small towns that dont have a BWW.

With that said, I've seen some $.50 cent wing specials and the drinks are noticeably cheaper. I will continue to go and be the problem.

They don’t blend their sauces and all of their sauces are just combinations of existing sauce that…they don’t blend, so you get the thick paste-like substance on the wings that looks like #poopfromabutt

Before it Franchised it was Amazing, hands down some of the best at the OG location in South Bend.

Now the sauce coverage is terrible.

The pro move was basket of wings with curly fries and dip them in your sauce.

Now wings are dried out, half naked.

I really like Wings Etc. because they drench the wings in sauce. I like to get their bbq and their honeymustard, then use the extra sauce as a condiment for dipping curly fries. However, I understand not wanting that with garlic parm. It would be too oily.
