Welcome to r/WorkRant!

Welcome everyone interested in blowing off steam from their work. I wanted to provide a space where you could talk about work, coworkers, management, your working conditions, etc. A couple of rules to make sure this is a safe space for people to post their frustrations:

- Post anything you like, but do not post any private information about who is involved and how to reach them. Names of Companies are fine, but the smaller the company, the easier it is to find out information.

- Do not comment any hate towards posters, if there is an issue please notify me and I will handle the situation.

- Seeking advice is acceptable

- Have Fun!

Thank you for being a part of the community and happy posting!

I called a coworker out for cherry picking. My boss doesn’t want to deal with personnel issues and said deal with this on your own so I did. Probably not in the best way but this coworker brought the boss into it. The boss totally defended her! She also doesn’t seem to understand what the issue is. I got yelled at literally. I’m so angry/. This one coworker can do anything she wants. She’s messed things up so our work flow has to change because of her . I’m so frustrated and angry. Do I go above my boss? Do I talk with HR? She’ll do something and then a blanket statement will be made about what needs to change or what to look out for.

Narcissist boss who drunk texts/and calls after hours to love bomb me. I quit answering now, but I was too nice until now. Then ONE minor problem and suddenly I’m the “problem”. This woman targets people and is a toxic boss but won’t relieve us with her retirement . Totally mean girl shit at 62 years old. Immature and spends most of her time playing victim, throwing people under the bus because she doesn’t do her job AND spends most the day taking smoke breaks. Did I mention I did 90% of the work on a project of which she took credit for? I’m tired of her boss caping for her. I wish this job market was better! I’d rage quit right now if I didn’t need the money .

I have work for almost a Year now, and already hate there. Because of employees unable to do their job the right and managers seems like never on the same page. As well as rude/obnoxious coming in the store or the drive-thru. The number one question is that I away having is. Why do the customers do not know drive-thru etiquette or how to treat your service workers? Then get mad when you return the same energy back.

I just wanted to say how unhappy I am over what has happened several times in the past. Litigation support companies that no longer exist due to moronic employees and management. My beef is the social aspect that exists no matter what you may believe. Somehow coworkers by the second day will have someone lined up for you. Worse yet is how by some bad luck they know someone you know and they set about poisoning your reputation. It is so sad when they destroy a part of your life. So you are cut off from that person forever. I am absolutely in despair from all of this interference. .
