Relationships/Personalities/Sex WYR always be guaranteed a "yes" when you ask a girl out, or gain 3 inches on your penis?

Imagine a genie appears and gives you this one-time permanent choice. No loopholes, no tricks.

Option A: Every time you ask a girl out (in person, dating app, wherever), she says yes with genuine interest and attraction. No more rejection, no more "you're a great guy but..." it just works.

Option B: You instantly gain a full 3 inches in penis length. Permanent, proportional, looks and feels natural. No other changes.

Which one are you picking and why?

  • Guys: Be honest. Would your dating life change more with guaranteed success or the "upgrade"?
  • Ladies: Which option would you rather your potential partner choose, and why?
  • Bonus: How does this change (or not change) your long-term confidence and relationships?

+3in. all the ladies will say yes anyways when i tell them about my 4-incher

27

u/DaRealKovi Jul 17 '26

Damn, you might be right. Could be a game changer

2

u/DMV_PRODS Jul 18 '26

Option b. I feel like option a just wouldn’t be good

u/Far-Media-9380 Jul 17 '26

I don’t want magic forcing women to date me against their will thanks, just watched a really good film about that

u/Undeity Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

Unless specified otherwise, I always interpret this kind of option to mean in a "there are infinite dimensions where anything is possible" sense.

Like, rather than overwriting someone's free will, it just puts you along a timeline in which, inexplicably, this person chose to say yes to you.

49

u/Jollybean1 Jul 17 '26

Haha yeah the movie was the first thing that came to my mind as well

10

u/mega_desu Jul 17 '26

super rapey premise. OP may need to get off line for a bit.

29

u/Stunning_Box8782 Jul 17 '26

Asking a girl out = raping,   reddit is being so reddit today

8

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora Jul 17 '26

bro the premise is that she's magically forced to say yes. should that date progress to sex yeah it is rape because she was forced into saying yes

14

u/austin101123 Jul 17 '26

Why would you assume the worst version possible if someone wanting to go on the date though? Geez. Even when OP says it's genuine interest not fucking magical rape y'all just ignored all that and added in something terrible holy shit

3

u/Kycatfan Jul 17 '26

Maybe option A just removes all women who would say no.

1

u/mega_desu Jul 17 '26

so then it doesn't work. because anyone you ask , either isn't there or theyre there because you're using magic.

it's not difficult to understand. this is a power fantasy that isn't about your luck it's about how your effort is rewarded over a woman's autonomy.

I understand it's a hypothetical but the basis of it is fuckin weird in terms of wishes being fulfilled.

it's not that serious because it's just a hypothetical but the base of it is creepy as wanting to read people's minds in order to manipulate them. don't be a fuckin NSA agent. don't be a grounds hog day type of rewind button to manipulate people. it's kinda creepy and has nasty implications.

0

u/austin101123 Jul 17 '26

Oh no! 😂 That might be worse for the world

5

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora Jul 17 '26

because the premise contradicts it being 'genuine interest'. it can't be genuine interest if it's enforced by magic.

2

u/Ilovestuffwhee Jul 17 '26

By fiat the WYR disagrees with you. It's stated to be genuine interest, so it must work some way that allows that. Maybe it simply alters the universe such that anyone you ask out is destined to say yes. Or maybe it sends you to an alternate universe where that's true. There are many ways the WYR can work as described with no contradictions.

6

u/mega_desu Jul 17 '26

exactly this magical idealism that removes autonomy is an opposite of genuine interest as the monkeys paw curls. it's a gross wish for nerds that have some odd power fantasy of women having interesting in them.

6

u/Seffuski Jul 17 '26

Ah yes, the checks notes despicable power fantasy of being genuinely desired. Revolting stuff, that

0

u/darthsekk Jul 17 '26

It's not genuine if their autonomy is overwritten.

-1

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora Jul 17 '26

Yeah the only way I can see scenarios like 'magical thing gives you the perfect partner' being even halfway ethical is if it just finds the best partner for you who exists and conspires to make you two cross paths. Everything else is date rape with extra steps

3

u/austin101123 Jul 17 '26

It could be a version of incredible luck, an alternate universe in the endless sea where everyone loves you, just incredible charm, etc.. Like there's no reason to think many are actually not interested and hate going through with and would get raped. It's introducing something terrible that isn't at all required.

5

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora Jul 17 '26

imo the most simple interpretation of this power is that anyone who you ask out is magically made to be interested in you. It didn't say anything about alternate universes and the implication is it works on anyone.

Also it doesn't matter if they love going out with you, their love is enforced upon them against their will. It's as though you gave them a love potion.

2

u/austin101123 Jul 17 '26

That's contradictory with genuine interest 🤔 and if there's magic anyway why not be magically be not rapey

u/CaffeineEnjoyer69 Jul 17 '26

If we're taking the premise to the extreme implication that no woman would ever have free will around OP again, nothings stopping them from just...ghosting or standing them up?

1

u/december151791 Jul 17 '26

Which movie?

3

u/Jollybean1 Jul 17 '26

Obsession

27

u/mega_desu Jul 17 '26

no no no NONONONO! Don't do that! we were having a good WouldYouRather!!!!

6

u/1true-opinon Jul 17 '26

I think it just lock in a first date so after that if they dint like you they will just stop I think

3

u/T-7IsOverrated Jul 17 '26

omfg bro💀

83

u/Aervanath Jul 17 '26

Option A seems ripe for abuse. What if the date didn't go well, but I'm a jerk and ask for a 2nd date anyway? Will she magically forget how bad the date went and say yes, or does the magic only work for the first date?

Option B isn't that much use to me, but at least it creates fewer ethical dilemmas.

46

u/Don_Wick_6997 Jul 17 '26

First date only.

14

u/Venom1462 Jul 17 '26

OP I think u should mention this in the post

38

u/DelcoMan Jul 17 '26

I'm going to buck the trend and say option A. Couple of reasons:

1.) There's such a thing as 'too much". At some point having a dong over a foot long is just an inconvenience. No use for option B.

2.) Nothing in the OP says the "asking out" has to be exclusively romantic. There's plenty of opportunity here to get in front of politicians and other women of influence for networking and business purposes.

1

u/Fearless-Sherbet-223 Jul 23 '26

You're over 9 inches??

1

u/DelcoMan Jul 24 '26

Let's just say my wife is very happy.

5

u/Natirix Jul 17 '26

A for sure. Without the fear of rejection you can always shoot your shot, go on a date, and find out for certain if you two would like each other instead of just going off first impressions.

32

u/joelene1892 Jul 17 '26

Guaranteed yes is risky and ripe for abuse. Is it permanent, like by asking all the time you can essentially force a woman to be in a relationship with you? You say genuine interest and attraction, but how genuine can that possibly be if it’s the magic and not her? Is it really attraction or love if a genie has brainwashed her into it?

I’m a woman who couldn’t care less about penis size (asexual here, although some women who aren’t feel the same too!) but I hope literally everyone picks that. Otherwise with every request, whether he wants to or not the man is hijacking free will. It’s worrying, honestly.

13

u/theecatt Jul 17 '26

Isn't that only a problem if free will actually exists? If the universe is deterministic, then the people you ask would have always said yes, anyway.

3

u/thekyledavid Jul 17 '26

If free will doesn’t exist, then what’s even the point of having this subreddit? It’s already been determined what everyone would pick

4

u/Ilovestuffwhee Jul 17 '26

There's a difference between being predetermined and being known. This subreddit is to let people make their choices known, whether or not those choices were already made for them.

1

u/joelene1892 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

Even if free will doesn’t exist you are still messing with what they would have done without this power. If you ask a married woman and she enthusiastically says yes because she has to, you’re breaking up what might have been a healthy marriage. Even with no free will — it’s complicated, and you are essentially forcing someone to like you, which may not at all be them.

2

u/theecatt Jul 17 '26

I see it more as shifting the universe such that either I wouldn't ask that person or they would have already said yes. If I ask a married woman and she enthusiastically says yes, it's because she wasn't happy in her marriage and was already looking for an excuse to cheat.

I am curious not trying to be mean or a smart ass but like where you born an asexual is it a choice or something trauma related ?

15

u/longtailist Jul 17 '26

Brother what

-4

u/Don_Wick_6997 Jul 17 '26

asexual is the lack of attraction to any gender right ?

8

u/longtailist Jul 17 '26

Who asks it like that lmao

-3

u/Don_Wick_6997 Jul 17 '26

Me, I'm genuinely curious about it, like why is someone not attracted to any gender that kinda fasinating.

10

u/bitransk1ng Jul 17 '26

We just aren't. It isn't abuse or trauma related, it's just how our brains are wired. I imagine allosexuals (people who do experience sexual attraction) would have a very hard time understanding what it's like though.

3

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora Jul 17 '26

allosexual gotta be one of my favourite dinosaurs

1

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '26

I guess it's like 24/7 post nut clarity?

I'm only half kidding.

3

u/joelene1892 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

It’s the lack of sexual attraction to anyone.

It’s not lack of attraction entirely. Many get romantic attraction. (Aromantic is no romantic attraction, which can happen on its own or with asexuality).

To answer your original question, I have always been like this. I have absolutely had romantic attraction but it always takes time and comes from liking their personality and a feeling of “I could be with you long term”. But even as a teenager I never understood physical attraction; honestly I don’t even notice someone is attractive unless I pause to think about it. If I do I can tell — I’m not blind and I understand what physically attractive is. But it’s not something I notice without thinking of it consciously.

Every asexual will be different of course. It’s a spectrum.

3

u/thekyledavid Jul 17 '26

Nobody knows what determines sexuality

Do you know the exact moment that your body and mind determined you had the sexuality you have? Were you born with genes which made you that sexuality? Was it a lived experience that made you that sexuality?

Asking someone why they are ace is no different than asking someone why they are straight. They are because they are.

3

u/msut77 Jul 17 '26

A) im packing already b) even if smol why would you turn down being able to court millionaire women and make them a sugar momma?

27

u/Oakl4nd Jul 17 '26

Option A is a lot more useful.

Imagine you can just DM top female celebs, CEOs, presidents, etc and they will go out with you. The possibilities are endless.

-6

u/the_og_cakesniffer Jul 17 '26

Yes, overwriting free will is a great power... not at all creepy

3

u/LabTech1992 Jul 17 '26

Guaranteed yes of course. 😉

6

u/Large-Ad5955 Jul 17 '26

Nigga is this even a question because it's pretty dam obvious the first is better. Its like asking do you want a thousand dollars or a million

3

u/FortWendy69 Jul 17 '26

I dunno man a thousand dollars is a lot of money. Hard to say no.

2

u/Mueryk Jul 17 '26

I’m married…..so I guess penis length since I wouldn’t use the other at all since I don’t want a divorce…..or to die.

2

u/Don_Wick_6997 Jul 17 '26

😂😂😂😂

2

u/FriedBreakfast Jul 17 '26

I'd rather have a guaranteed yes. I don't think I need a penis that's 12 inches long.

2

u/RequirementBusiness8 Jul 17 '26

At 3.5 inches now, I have a better shot.

Jk. Seriously though, give me the 3 inches. I’m long term married anyways and not asking girls out. Plus the thought of women saying yes to me because they were magically forced to feels wrong in every way imaginable.

2

u/Exmawsh Jul 17 '26

3 inches and I'm into dudes anyway

2

u/RealFuryous Jul 17 '26

First option is my choice. Besides shooting adult content allegedly there's no use for a 10 inch dick.

2

u/recoveringpatriot Jul 17 '26

For married guys this means she’ll stop saying “not tonight” because she’ll always be interested? Sounds wonderful.

2

u/Alteredbeast1984 Jul 18 '26

A. Doesn't mean we get along but, I would be selective and it would be fun.

B. No thanks.

2

u/Sharp_Chard_1969 Jul 18 '26

A i mean does say genuine so sure why not

2

u/RewRose Jul 18 '26

A is the way, B reeks of encouraging people's body dysmorphia & body shaming

3

u/mattseth23 Jul 17 '26

Well I don't need 3 more inches. That would be a problem for quite a lot of women. I don't know if I always want a guaranteed yes either. What if I'm drunk lmao I'd pick the yes though. I would just have to be careful who I ask.

5

u/Strong_Blackberry961 Jul 17 '26

What do I need a big penis for if I get a guaranteed yes?

4

u/Reasonable-Leg-2002 Jul 17 '26

Option A but stipulated that the interest and attraction is genuine, not forced. Also frankly I’m married and have no need for dates, so I’d hope to finagle the power to be a general “charm” spell

3

u/theecatt Jul 17 '26

Option A. I wouldn't want to accidentally injure anyone.

4

u/Iceman_001 Jul 17 '26

Option A. I'm happy with my penis size.

4

u/Dry_Conversation571 Jul 17 '26

A. Easy. An extra three inches and I’d be tripping with every step.

2

u/Don_Wick_6997 Jul 17 '26

😂😂😂

2

u/Dilapidated_girrafe Jul 17 '26

Neither.

Consent is impotent and honestly. Three more inches would be bad.

2

u/The_Se7enthsign Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

Maybe I am a lucky guy because neither of these are very enticing to me. Three more inches would be too big, and I rarely ask a girl out unless the genuine interest and attraction are there first. It would be cool I guess to go on dates with anyone I wanted…

But the only girl I WANT to go on dates with already lives with me.

2

u/AprilsMostAmazing Jul 17 '26

Option A. I don't have to use the power

1

u/attackedmoose Jul 17 '26

I’m married, so I don’t need to ask anyone else out. Gimme that 3 inches.

1

u/ChaosReality69 Jul 17 '26

I'm married and an extra 3" might hurt my wife if I'm not careful. I'm sure she'd have fun playing with the extra 3" though.

Give me the extra length.

1

u/Caliterra Jul 17 '26

Porn star dick sounds cool in theory but i doubt its that great IRL

1

u/filkerdave Jul 17 '26

Option B, since I'm not asking anyone but my wife out.

1

u/Cynykl Jul 17 '26

I answered wrong and now I am stuck with a 3.8 inch radius shaft.

Although to call it a shaft would be a misnomer now as it is wider than it is tall.

This is going to make everything more difficult.

1

u/BayGullGuy Jul 17 '26

Unless you’re under average be careful what you wish for with adding extra length. Most women won’t want 10 inches hitting them in the cervix

1

u/cougomdd Jul 17 '26

I’m divided, I don’t really like the idea of having a yes every time, it’s a little weird and I couldn’t not tell myself that it’s just because I’m so scary that she doesn’t dare to say no.

But on the other hand, given the size of my penis, I really don’t want to have 3 inches more, it really risks becoming a complex so much it’s big, no one wants to see a 10-inch dick.

1

u/mage_in_training Jul 17 '26

Since im married, a bigger penis.

1

u/meesanohaveabooma Jul 17 '26

B. Im married already, have no use for A.

1

u/monnotorium Jul 17 '26

Neither...

1

u/MonkeyToe8489 Jul 17 '26

A bc I don't have dihh

1

u/Wise_Classic6569 Jul 18 '26

3 inches, 100% rate would get boring, a little rejection is good sometimes

1

u/LMBYMG Jul 18 '26

As a woman who is into women I would have to ask some questions first

1

u/Fearless-Sherbet-223 Jul 23 '26

Female, rather he choose B- I would not want to share my man anyway plus there's no reason he has to put the whole thing in every time if it ends up too long.

1

u/dakingindanorf0 Aug 07 '26

Option A doesn't fit my morals and with option B I can be a pornstar which would bring me lots of money and I might even have some fun

1

u/Kite131 Aug 12 '26

3 inches. I'm around average size now but I'm a chubby dude so it looks smaller. The extra length would just help me feel more confident in myself. And people have told me my lack of self confidence is my most unattractive trait

0

u/WriteBrainedJR Jul 17 '26

How does Option A work? If it makes me instinctively know who already wants to say yes and only ask those people, then Option A.

If I could theoretically use it on anybody and it just forces them to say yes, then I'll take Option B. I don't really need a gargantuan penis, but it's sure preferable over eliminating free will

1

u/emptywhoreass6969 Jul 17 '26

I asked a girl out and she said yes. I threw a hot dog bun at a guy and he said yes. What the fuck are the rest of yall doing.

1

u/Alone-Mycologist3746 Jul 17 '26

+3. Option A just feels creepy regardless and you will never be able to fully trust whether or not they're actually interested or if it's just your charm power. I can take a no, but uncertainty forever sounds horrible.

0

u/OutsideYogurt3761 Jul 17 '26

Ehh, option a feels a little coercive

0

u/Individual_Koala_826 Jul 17 '26

The first sins practes makes perfection boys no mather hiw big you are.

-1

u/Valentine_Zombie Jul 17 '26

This tough cuz i don't want to magically force women to like me and my penis is massive as it is

-1

u/Emergency-Dot4314 Jul 17 '26

Depends if the first one makes it so that I only ask out people who would have interest in me or if it forces them to accept. If the latter is true, second, if the former, the first

-1

u/Grand_Serpent Jul 17 '26

Is it weird I don’t want either option?😅 Not tryna brag or anything, honest😅 Idk I don’t really want A. so if I had to choose I guess B. lol

-1

u/TheOneWhoGazesBack Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 19 '26

The second one. If i pick the 1st I'll never be able to trust anyone and eventually I won't care and that's terrifying.

-1

u/JosephMorality Jul 17 '26

Their mouth says yes, but their body is telling you no.

-2

u/Clarencekt Jul 17 '26

Bigger peen, option a won't feel genuine

-2

u/Mordarroc Jul 17 '26

Ill take option 2. having a bigger d is appealing to some women. Option one feels wrong.

-2

u/Castille_92 Jul 17 '26

B.

I've seen A in a movie. No thanks.

-2

u/saturday_sun4 Jul 17 '26

The penis. Things "just magically working out" seems to set the lowest possible bar for men. You said when he asks you out. Not AFTER. Like what if the guy is a creep or a rapist or an abuser but due to this magic it "just works out" when he asks you out and only then?

Or what if he's fine but you're just not compatible?

-2

u/Mitunec Jul 17 '26

Neither because I'm not interested in relationships and don't have weird genital insecurities 🤷

-3

u/smellywetsock69 Jul 17 '26

The plot of Obsession or an actual benefit huh

-3

u/Cryptic_Nerd01 Jul 17 '26

if only there was a movie about the dangers of Option A... oh wait

3

u/Ilovestuffwhee Jul 17 '26

Because things always work like they do in movies...
