Honestly was wondering if I was looking at the Nikke sub for a moment, since spotting that sort of detail is pretty common over there.
It is an interesting touch with fair skin characters to have that level of detail, but dang some people really get into it. :D

imho its not veins as it is, but just them as an aspect of realistic human. Not perfect anime girl made with pixels, more more real person like we have in real life, u know. Which can feel nice, cause easier to relate

Sometimes in quests the game change camera angles. When Hiyuki first appeared the camera was on the ground and showed her walkkng focused on her feet. You can see the veins from there. Lucillia also have some few shots focusing on her foot during the start of 3.3 MQ.

Big zoom on Denia's feet during the trailer as well, so we could see veins in them. I belive that once she launches, some people will immediately do the same.
