The village idiots squad from Lahai-Roi was genuinely hilarious and moments like these are one of the reasons why I think Lahai-Roi was so amazing.
People have often criticized the game for not having enough interactions between its characters, especially outside of Rover.
But whenever Kuro Games actually takes the time to develop those relationships, the results are genuinely incredible! And that's exactly why we keep asking for more.
Because sure, epic battles, huge revelations, and dramatic moments are great, but simply watching characters hang out, laugh, tease each other, and do stupid stuff together also adds so much to the story. It gives them another layer of depth and, more importantly, makes their relationships feel much more natural.
And then there's the squad I affectionately call the village idiots: Sigrika, Denia, Lynae, and Chisa.
Seriously though, how did this group even come together? And the funniest part is that we probably have Sigrika to thank for it. This girl somehow managed to bring together such completely different personalities that you'd normally wonder how they could even be friends. And yet, their chemistry works incredibly well!
First, you've got Sigrika, the influencer and the group's official idiot. 🤣 Always enthusiastic, always ready to drag everyone into her ridiculous schemes, with an unstoppable amount of energy. She's definitely the type of person who comes up with the dumbest idea imaginable and somehow manages to convince everyone else to go along with it.
Then there's Denia, who's supposed to be the smart one of the group, but somehow manages to be just as dumb as Sigrika🤣 She might seem more reasonable, but she still ends up getting involved in their nonsense. And that's what makes it even funnier, because she's supposed to be the one keeping everyone in check.
Lynae is the absolute lunatic of the group. 🤣 Seriously, she doesn't help the situation at all!, Instead of calming things down, she just goes along with the chaos and sometimes even encourages everyone to take their stupidity to the next level. She's exactly the kind of person you should NEVER put together with Sigrika if you want even five minutes of peace. 😭
And finally, there's Chisa, our little introvert who somehow got dragged into this group of absolute disasters. 🤣 She's much more reserved, but that's exactly what makes her interactions with the others so entertaining. She gradually adapts to their craziness and eventually starts joining in on their nonsense too. Watching her participate in their stupid antics despite usually being so calm is just priceless.
And that's what I love about this squad: they're all so different, yet they complement each other perfectly! Each of them brings something unique to the group's dynamic, and none of them has to sacrifice their personality for their interactions to work.
And let's not forget poor Rover, who's literally playing the role of the responsible adult forced to babysit four hyperactive girls🤣
This guy can face threats capable of destroying the entire world, but put him in front of this squad of idiots, and he looks like he's completely done with life. The poor guy just can't catch a break 😭 And that contrast is exactly what makes some of these scenes even funnier.
