Alright, we decided to finally make a post on this issue, since it's gone unchecked for way too long. What issue? A lot of y'all in this sub are extremely fucking confident about spreading misinformation about intersex people, and we're fucking sick of it just being accepted and never corrected. "Oh but why don't you correct them then" because it's so fucking common, and I don't have the time to educate every single person on this subreddit, nor is it our duty to do so. Not to mention, the hate one often receives when making corrections. So, we decided to make a post to hopefully educate most of the people here at the same time. These are in no particular order. 1. To start, since a lot of y'all don't seem to even know what an intersex person is, an intersex person is a person who's natal sexual characteristics (chromosomes, genitals, sexual organs, hormones, ect...) fall outside the typical male/female binary, which means this is how their body naturally develops without outside factors interfering. That's it. Perisex refers to non-intersex people, it is not a slur, just like cisgender isn't one. 2. Next, most intersex people aren't "AXAB" or "AIAB" most intersex people end up either being "AFAB" or "AMAB." Using this point to also point out that there is no "AFAB/AMAB anatomy" not only does that ignore intersex people that were forced into these categories, it also ignores the fact that some people transition, or otherwise alter their body. Also, these acronyms refer to a past event, so past tense should be used when talking about these. It's also "people ASAB" not "ASAB people." The last two are pure grammatical nitpicks, but we don't care, taking the opportunity to point that out as well. 3. A lot of intersex people are put through non-consensual medical interventions by doctors to make them fit the category doctors decided to put them in. These non-consensual acts aren't us being 'lucky' they're acts of violence and it's about time some of y'all stop fetishisinzing it. 4. You do not need a diagnosis to be intersex, holy shit a lot of y'all are hypocritical on this one. You can't both be pro self-diagnosis and then turn around and say intersex people need a diagnosis to be valid. Not only do we often face a lot of medical abuse due to being intersex as mentionned above, but doctors also love to gaslight people into believing they're not actually intersex when they are. Not to mention, doctors often go out of their way to hide the intersex variations from the intersex person. And that's still not the end of it! At the end of the day, if you genuinely believe you have an intersex variation, you can say you are intersex! And it's up to you whether you want to try your luck with doctors to get it diagnosed if you want (if there's even a diagnosis for your variation!) 5. Intersex people isn't "biologically nonbinary" and everytime you call an intersex animal "biologically nonbinary" you contribute to our erasure, even if unvolontary. Also, 'hermaphrodite' is a slur so stop using it??? No it's not okay to use it for animals either. There's plenty of other words that can be used instead. Here's a diagram that was shared by bigfatalligator in the comments of words you should use instead, depending on the context of the species. 6. Kinda following the last point, but a whole species cannot be intersex, being intersex is having sexual characteristics that are outside of the binary that's established for the species, so if the whole species has those sexual characteristics, it's not intersex. Which also means characters from such species aren't intersex representation either. 7. Intersex people can be cisgender, transgender, neither or both. We can also be nonbinary. We can be any gender, or even none. Not sure why some people still think we all must be x or y. Also just because an intersex person is nonbinary, doesn't make them cisgender. Can an intersex nonbinary person identify as cisgender? Yes, so can a perisex nonbinary person. Can an intersex nonbinary person identify otherwise? Also yes, and so can perisex nonbinary folks! 8. No your headmate isn't intersex if you're bodily perisex, and cannot reclaim the intersex slurs if you're bodily perisex. There's other words to describe this, such as 'innosex' but intersex refers to the outerworld body, and isn't to be used if you're not bodily intersex. 9. You cannot transition to being intersex. Intersex is something you are born as, and is the way your body naturally develops. Not only that, but it implies intersex people who were forced into non-consensual medical interventions were 'transitioned to being perisex' and no longer intersex, which is a harmful way of thinking. Please use other labels such as 'altersex.' 10. Y'all need to stop using intersex-exclusive labels if you're you're perisex. Not even going to elaborate, this one should be obvious. Same goes for intersex symbols, it's very frequent for us to find intersex symbols used to represent nonbinary people instead. Stop that. 11. It's very obvious when you make a post about something without considering for even 5 seconds intersex people and their experiences. It's also very disheartening to see, because we get excluded from/ignored in queer conversations constantly. Just because we often don't bring it up due to fear of backlash doesn't mean we don't notice it when you exclude us. 12. Probably said it already but saying it again for good mesure, intersex ≠ nonbinary. Sex ≠ Gender, and we're honestly not sure how y'all can agree with the later but not the former. 13. We can agree that asking a trans person for their genitals or what medical procedures they've had is very inappropriate and invasive, right? Then why do some of y'all think it's appropriate to ask random intersex people about their genitals or variation(s)? It's just as inappropriate, and we see a lot of people being hypocritical on this. There's probably more we could add on, but writing this post was exhausting, and it's so long already, so we'll stop it right there.

Made some simple Shadowsight headcanons! I love this goob so much. He's my all time favorite WC character & one of my kin/heart types. :D
I apologize if the text if kind of hard to read! I'll provide the names & links to the flags if anyone wants them.
The symbols from top to bottom are: Visual impairment, Insomnia, Guilty Syndrome, Hallucinations, PTSD, & Epilepsy. :)
I might do more kitty headcanons later- or some of my current favorite manga/anime characters. :P
Also, do not ask me how a cat can be trans. The clans literally have religions, some cats can see spirits and have/had powers. 😭
Forget that the rule prohibiting medicine cats from having mates & kits exists too. I hate that part of the code so much. 🤫
[Ignore my poor wording & any typos I made, btw.]

Is there a term for when somebody believes they can feel romantic attraction but don’t? Or would I have to coin it?
r/XenogendersAndMore • u/Nonexistent_Crypto • 18h ago
I could’ve sworn there was a flag for the term demon4priest, but no matter where I look I can’t find it. If someone finds it PLEASE comment it, I need the flag 😭🙏
If it doesn’t exist then can someone make it?
Thank you!

The intersex cat flag is just a stylized version of the regular intersex flag. I just think Steven would like that flag more than the OG one lol
My explanation of his objectum identity is that he is straight, likes girls, but also has romantic attraction to nostalgic or comforting objects in his life like blankets, pillows, stuffies, etc.
And on top of his romantic attraction to objects he also has a separate platonic attraction to some objects.
Also I headcanon him with dyspraxia specifically under the context that his powers are an extension of his bodily abilities ykwim? So he struggled with orientating and controlling his powers, therefore he has bodily issues with control and orientation.

hey there, I've recently seen many beings having collections or hoards that have hundreds (really hundreds, like 300-800) of labels, and I really want such a big one too, it sounds really fun.
My question is, how do y'all even find that many labels? Is it mostly xenogenders that are collected after interests and "this fits me", or do y'all just take anything that in any way seems like the definition fits you?
I personally use my labels depending on how strongly they resonate with me AND if I like the flag and name, so I often just don't collect a label if I don't like the flag but the definition fits me. Do y'all not care about the flags but only the term or do you just see so many flags that seem cool to you that you'd like them?
Are the labels mostly xenogenders or are there many other genders and orientations too?
TLDR: How to achieve a big label collection?

Heya yall, I'm almost ready to go back to the psyc ward. My dysphoria is getting so bad that I'm wearing masks just to hide my face. I can't even look at my body without feeling like I'm gonna fucking hurl. I hate it. Why couldn't I have just been born amab, then everything would be better.
It's to the point where I want to get ovarian and breast cancer just to remove the shit I don't need. It shouldn't have even been there to begin with.i don't know how to get gender euphoria anymore because nothing is working.

I believe these could fall under Faunagender? - I didn't know this was an xenogender term, that is coolio! 🙂↕️
+Textured flags as well as regular non-textured flags! :D
Flag: Mallardgender! or Mallardgenderfem & Mallardgendermasc
Credit is advised but not required if you or others want to post said flag/term onto a different platform (Tumblr, Pinterest, TikTok, X, etc…)
Definition: A gender identity in which is connected to mallard ducks and their behavior.
Colors and what they mean!:
Medium Green/Tan: The connection to similar aspects such as dabbling, etc…
Khaki/Grayish Silver: Calmness - not necessarily non gender identity neither neutral sense of identity.
Blue/Purple: Mallardgenderfem & Mallardgendermasc
Dark Brown: General mallard identity
Fun mallard fact: Both males and females have the if not similar patch(speculum, males(drakes) having blue as for females(hens) purplish blue! I wanted to incorporate this in the flags in a way. C:
Now I do realize the colors are quite similar to ‘scenegender’... I apologize in advance if any of these look similar to other flags. Although I made sure I didn't run into that issue by comparing the colors to other flags, and so on. 🥲 there's a very limited selection nowadays. lol

TLDR: I'm a man, but my gender itself does not always feel masculinely aligned and sometimes feels neutral or androgynous overall despite still being 100% male.
I've been back and forth between identifying as genderfluid and a binary guy since I started seriously questioning my gender and sexuality.
I am essentially always okay with being seen as a man. I like he/him pronouns more than any other pronouns, heavily prefer masculine honoritics such as sir and mr, and have essentially no desire to ever be seen as a woman and often don't care for being seen as a neutral entity, either.
However, I still feel as though sometimes I want to dress more neutrally or androgynously rather than masculinely. While I do so, I still heavily prefer to be viewed and referred to as a man, however. Additionally, these additional qualities can feel pretty important to my gender feeling as a whole. For example, just man on its own will not feel quite right, and I prefer to call myself a neutral man instead. Like I'm 100% a man still, I just feel like the additional non-masculine part of my gender is still very much important to my identity and how I'm viewed.
Sometimes, I like to dress very traditionally masculine, and other times, it feels incorrect to do so. I think this is part of why the additional gender quality feels so important to name since it leads to dysphoria and euphoria accordingly.
I don't mind if it was referred to as boy+, being 100% a boy while also experiencing other genders. This does not sound like an incorrect description per se. But it's more that the male of my gender feels like it has a different quality.
Is there a label for this experience?

Is there a term for like,, attraction that is between familial and platonic? kind of like a platonic-familial variant of queerplatonic, I guess?
I know this is only One definition of queerplatonic, but one of the definitions is like 'in between platonic and romantic' (although it can also be outside of both), and I was like, huh, something like that for platonic & familial would be neat?
I have this Group of people that I feel a weird middle of platonic-familial attraction for? it isn't really Platonic but it isn't really Familial either, but instead a funky little middle. I'm majorly aplatonic so it isn't really Platonic, it's just Adjacent to that. but also Adjacent to familial, without quite being one or the other.
I could 100% make a term if there isn't one, I just figured if I could ask anywhere, I could ask here !

Paroalterous: An alterous attraction label where you can feel attraction to someone of any gender, but that attraction varies depending on the gender. What qualities as variation in attraction is up to each person and purposely left vague.
The flags colors are inspire by an alt parosexual flag, the gradient from blue to pink represents the spectrom of genders a paroalterous person can feel attraction to, and the spectrum of variation of that attraction. The hexagon and heart in the middle represent alterous attraction.

[Wording might be a little bad as it is 4 am while typing this.]
I decided to un-scrap the helpless flag because some people wanted it. I might've written the definition too close to my incompetent term from a few days ago, though. I'm not sure. [Please give me advice on how to reword it if so 🙏🏾]
Might change the defs slightly later anyway. I feel like I did a poor job with them, but whatever.
Also, like before, do not tell me that these terms & feelings are unhealthy to have, or that I should see a therapist. I understand that already. [This sub is cool, so I probably don't have to worry about that here, but still.]
Inherently Bad
A term for anyone who considers themself to be inherently bad; someone who is, and will always be a terrible person. Whether one has done something [such as causing harm or anything else morally wrong] or not to warrant this feeling, they will forever be tainted with horridness, and never be clean or pure, no matter how much they try to repent.
This may be due to insecurity, mental illness, a personality disorder[s], etc.
insignificant
A term for anyone who considers themself to be insignificant; someone who is unimportant &/or inferior to others. One who is meaningless and serves no purpose. They are forgotten and often fade away in the background, unnoticed by their peers.
This may be due to insecurity, mental/physical illness, a personality disorder[s], etc.
Helpless
A term for anyone who considers themself to be helpless; someone who lacks the proper abilities or strength to care for themself or others. They rely on other people, and are unable to handle a situation well enough on their own. They may need assistance or support from their peers in order to function properly.
This may be due to insecurity, mental/physical illness, a personality disorder[s], etc.

i see someone i think is cool, i want to become friends with them— then we start talking, or indeed become friends. and then i’m not interested anymore. i say i want more friends but once i do, i don’t want them anymore?
the people which i am friends with… i don’t know. i want to say i’m happy we’re friends, but at the same time i feel like it wouldn’t make me a big difference if we split off. like i would move on quickly.
sooo. could this be some sort of aplatonic? do i just have attachment issues…? if anyone has similar feelings/experiences i’d love to hear!! please i’m so confused ;(
(my internet is bad rn so ignore if this posts twice </3)

so, I've been thinking on this for a while, and I feel like one of my genders is piglin. I have been looking for an existing term for this, but I have not found any that fit what I feel.
