Question Is Zim ever gonna come good?
Close to hitting 30 now and that feeling of "why try if you arent gonna succeed anyways" is creeping in
Someone born in 1980 is 46 now(if they're still alive) and they're a few that make it but man this shit is draining
The world doesn't owe me anything but man talk about being dealt a Bad hand, Leaving is always an option i guess

This OP
If you can leave, go. Zim isn't getting better and will only get worse for the majority of people.

Nothing is going to change, leave as soon as possible you will thank yourself 5 or 10 years down the line

Zim right now is the best it will ever be. Accept that and plan your life accordingly

No it is not. This is the way it is going to be for at least a few decades. The change will not be realized in many of our lifetimes.

Oh no, NEVER. It's actually gonna get worse. That's one of the reasons I won't be having kids. I'm not cursing my child with a Zimbabwean citizenship.

No, an old man at my first job (5 years ago) who was retiring straight up said’ “ vapfanha taingoti zvichanaka zvichanaka izvezve tatosvika pa ku retire. Budai henyu munyika mukawana mukana.” That’s the best advice I ever got and I am glad I migrated coz indeed hapana chati chanaka in that company in terms of worker’s compensation yet:(

Some say Zim is good but that pertains to certain people who get into certain situations. By situations I mean govt involvement, mining and other shady means for the most part. It’s good for the minority of the population. Zim will only ever be good with a stable economy and growth in the employment sector. Once people can survive through means of employment, legal opportunities and education then Zim will be good.

Some say it's good now. Define good for yourself and chase it.

It will take centuries to dismantle & fix what RGM started. Leaving is the best option. If it's not an option, join them.

But muzim vanhu vane mari amana, pakungoda kuwana way yekuextracter from others vanayo. Teaming up to come up with good solutions is something chandaona chinonetsa futi time time - people don't wanna team up to do impactful stuff, vanoda mafaro.
It's like the tesla roadster yakagadzirwa iyo - its a combination of space ship & electric vehicle technologies. Uri alone its rare that somen comes up with something great - lets team up. I'm interested in tech & have some skills & perspectives there, others from other fields who wanna team up type shi?
Op you're 30 and have lots of useful info of experience & perspectives pano pasi that can be used to come up with something good. Do you feel like it's impossible?

Even if Zim come good. You are struggling in th worst Zim why do you think you are going to successed in good Zim. Worry about today and what is necessary today whether leaving or staying Zim always do what works at that moment. Your future is going to be build by your today decision. Stop overthinking just do what is working
