Book donation

Hi everyone,

I was wondering where I could drop off some books I’m no longer using. They’re aimed for youth/young adults. I’d prefer to not give any money to value village, so I’d love to donate them to those “take one, leave one” community libraries or to a youth shelter.

Thanks :)

Here’s a map of the little free libraries in Abbotsford. (There may be more, but these are the ones visible on Open Street Map.)

There is a community book box on Glenshiel Drive off McKee, where the entrance to the catwalk is that connects with Glencoe Pl. You can see it on Google maps street view, under the dogwood tree.

Cyrus Centre may be a good option.

There are 2 free little libraries by McMillan elementary (one on McMillan road and one on oakhill drive) that I noticed were fairly empty today.

Exactly. There are numerous other thrift stores in town that are non-profit, unlike VV.
