AI will automate everything, AC and all by that time.

Is opus 5.5 not already an automated coder? I’d say even opus 4.5 hit that mark

Only AI under the guidance of someone stupid would feel comfortable to fit such a trend to these graphs.
Funny how it's also not from the original blog. Some dumb Twitter dude.

Sure, in january, Dario told that AI will replace software engineers in 6-12 months. 3 months left

I thought he just said that AI would write all the code by then? In my case that's true already

He was talking about the SWE job E2E.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk6P-SsXIzQ
But he said that it could also take a few years. At this point, it should be able to do most knowledge workers jobs E2E, this is 10s of millions of jobs, just in the USA.

he explains more in detail in a dwarkesh podcast.
a SWE's job E2E doesn't only involve writing code but the code part is essentially already completely done
it will be moving forward with the 25% remaining but that could take a few years

why would Anthropic hire junior engineers when they don't have to. They are a destination for any SW Engineer so they can be picky and only grab experienced people
