Some thoughts
I think about why I can’t be like anyone else, to me it would seem easier, like everyone else’s worldview doesn’t align with mine, when my parents said something about boys,I didn’t really care. it’s really strange that people can have an objectively better life, some women I know follow their partners paths, which seems like a more certain path than mine, I innately need to handle things on my own

Why is their life objectively better? People go crazy over sex and either not getting it, or having dumb regretful encounters, or being forever unsatisfied with their partners.
This orientation is freeing in a way, still getting something out of letting the mind engage in the sexual realm, without the indifference of a sex-repulsed plain ace, nor the complications of dealing with it irl (tho that might be coming from a place of aego bias on my end). Sort of a Goldilocks zone in between, is how I perceive it.
Altho if you’re ace but not aro, and it’s about the difficulty of finding someone compatible, that can be tricky. But still it is not like partnered up people are necessarily living an easier life, in some ways but perhaps harder in others.
