SpaceX Integration Technician Interview Experience — How Do You Think I Did?
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my recent interview experience for a **SpaceX Integration Technician position at the Inglewood site** and get some honest feedback from people who have gone through the hiring process.
I previously interviewed for another Integration Technician opportunity (Starshield), and I recently got another opportunity to interview with SpaceX (Falcon).
Here’s how the interview went:
**Written test:** I completed a written assessment. This time, I did not have to perform a practical hands-on test.
**Oral interview:** The interviewers asked a combination of behavioral and technical questions.
**Follow-up questions:** They asked quite a few follow-up questions based on my answers, and they were writing down my responses.
**Integrity question:** One recruiter asked me what integrity means. I explained that it means being honest and telling the truth. I also connected it to integration technician work, explaining how the job involves bringing parts, components, subassemblies, and assemblies together.
**Overall experience:** The interview felt easier than my previous one, and I felt more comfortable answering the questions.
At the end, a recruiter told me to keep checking my email because I should hear something from them early next week.
I have more than 20 years of hands-on mechanical experience, including automotive troubleshooting and repair, and I’m currently pursuing my aviation maintenance career.
**For those familiar with SpaceX hiring:**
What do you make of interviewers asking multiple follow-up questions and writing down the answers?
Is it normal to have a written assessment and behavioral interview without a practical test?
Does being told to expect an update early the following week sound like a standard timeline?
For anyone who has interviewed for an Integration Technician role at SpaceX, what happened after your interview?
I know nothing is guaranteed until I receive an official update. I’m just interested in hearing from people who have been through the process.
Thanks in advance, everyone! 🚀

Don’t take this job. I was on the falcon 9 in Vandenberg. Worst job I’ve ever had

Wow. What happened? The way I’m so excited about it. They asked me when I can start, which shift I want. I was so ready to quit my general aviation job.

12-16 hr days 6-7 days, weeks on end. Shit wages. No training, no job protections, the work you like a dog and fire you when they feel like it.

They time your bathroom break to measure how productive you are. What more do I need to say.
Mandatory OT every other Sat. (I am not sure if they still do it)
Consider yourself lucky if they decide not to go forward.
This job posting has been up for years. You can imagine why.
