This makes me sad. Humanity has been around roughly (VERY roughly) 300,000 years, and that is modern humans, like us. There were other human species in Europe and Asia that we interbred with after we left Africa that were around a lot longer than that.

Jesus was said to have been born roughly 2,000 years ago. For most of human history, God as we understand him today did not exist.

I am not an expert, but I love history. My understanding is that humans have been so successful because we can be so different and work together. We're the Swiss army knife of the animal kingdom. If a woman was really good at hunting it made no sense to prevent her from doing so. If a man was really good at gathering or watching kids, why prevent him from doing that? It makes no sense from a survival perspective. My understanding is this is why things like autism and ADHD exist. A child who can't sit still in the past would have been handed a spear. An autistic person who's special interests was plants would remember which ones were safe to eat and which ones were poison much better than the average person.

Submitting is not why we are here. We evolved to work together. You can't work together if half of your population is submitting to the other half. It's not in our nature to submit, which is why they have to make slop like this. Propaganda is a helluva drug.

I believe human beings are a "keystone species" historically for much of our species existence wherever we went biodiversity actually expanded and flourished, we were necessary for life to proliferate. This changed during the agricultural revolution with the invention of land ownership. This, also, is around the time patriarchy is established as men needed to control women's reproduction to ensure that their lands and resources would be passed on to their offspring only. Total fucking mess and we really lost the plot about 10,000 years ago.

It is said that ADHDers were the gatherers. Our brains are built for it. Pattern recognition and instant dopamine for finding things. In today's world we are overwhelmed by the constant noise and input and the need to function in a society. ADHD was fine as long as you could afford a maid (looking at you, grandma).

The idea of god has indeed evolved quite a lot and continues to do so (and will in the future). Even within one religion alone this is seen.
