[ PTC :: Negativity? Not quite sure... ]

I recently found out/accepted that I'm an angel othervague/otherquoi, and I feel... off? Just majorly confused and scared.

I'm an angel, but what type of angel am I? I say I'm a non-religious angel, but what if that's not true? What if I'm lying to myself? I can't see my wings, but I feel them at times, and it feels like I was dropped off & abandoned on Earth... I wanna go home, but do I even have a home to go to?

I have no name nor identity, but it feels like I do/should have one. It feels like all the information is locked away somewhere in a place I shall never find...

I just want to know who I am. . .

Basically I’ve always found it hard to distinguish my feelings between involuntary and voluntary… but I think they might fluctuate between the two and that’s why it’s been so hard for me to figure this stuff out?? Basically sometimes I have shifts that are involuntary, and sometimes I have shifts that are fully voluntary. Is there a word for this, and if not can we make one please? Right now I call myself a therian, but I feel like that doesn’t fully fit because of everything I just stated.

So i told my friend that i was an irken in a past life, ( their therian) and i kept explaining what it meant to me. That I wasnt an animated character, but a person b4 the show took place, and this was in another reality, not the show. She kept saying " you cant be a 2d animated character its just not real" and i told her " im not animated im from a diff reality" and she kept saying the same thing, claiming its " just her opinion" but she was basically saying i didnt exist and that made me rlly mad bc obviously. And ya now im sad.

(Featuring one of my main sonas,,Apollo fictkin, robotkin, and angelkin all in one! Woohoo. Sona's rust is mostly in the hands + legs because thats where my joints mostly SUCK /silly)

I love whenever my joints pop because it reminds me of. Robotic joints snapping into place. I love when I get tired because it feels like I'm low on charge. I love when I don't feel too much emotion because! Why would I! I love when humans call me a thing or a machine! I am!

This might be a kind of silly or odd question, but I was curious how my fellow alterhumans prefer to be referred as outside of alterhuman labels.

Do you prefer being referred to as an organism, being, creature, beast, spirit or soul, or something else? Just something that popped into my head that I thought I would ask!

I've never had one but i need it cuz I want to make an explicitly alterhuman indie series, not some fantasy or Anthropomorphic characters lol

im sorry if this is too dark for this sub but its very related to my nonhumanity and i needed to share it somewhere because what was that.

proceed with a bit of caution this gets depressing at times

so ever since I've known i was a therian/alterhuman one thing I've noticed a lot is that i tend to have specific feelings /shifts caused by songs. this is quite random but there are some out there that make me feel specifically animal or other things and this is always how I've been. i don't know what causes it honestly and most of these songs are fine and all, i just feel weird.

but there is this ONE song that's always messed me up for some reason. it's notion, by the rare occasions. there's something about it that gives me this deep pit in my stomach and I've not heard it for years.

the last time (before a few minutes ago, i"ll get 2 that) i listened to it i remember being quite upset, but that was ages ago and i can't remember much but i think it was similair to what just happened

i had a kinda shit day today and was feeling also bad, not exatly depressed but i shouldve been asleep hours ago so that was probably somewhat to do with it. as i was moping in my bed some part of ne decided to listen to notion again. i have no clue why i thought it was a good idea-i was planning an artwork that gave off a similar vibe to the song i think. i put on my headphones and leaned against my wall.

but then it genuinly hit me. after those first few seconds it gets a certain way and i genuinly couldn't deal with it. i cried like someone i knew had died and i couldn't get them back. that's how it felt to me. all that was going through my head was not really memories but visions of what i feel like my life was like or couldve been like in the past before i had a human body. it's the lyrics that are the cherry on top because it talks about the notion of i think god/ heaven being a lie and i linked that right to my alterhumanity. that no matter what i did i couldn't go back, it would never be exactly the same. i cried for the whole song and after, as well. it felt so final, like i could never get it back.

i don't know why it had such an effect on me. i get really connected to my kintypes (not more shifty, just connected if you get me) during the autumn/winter months, so maybe that was something to do with it.

i mean I'm fine now, I'm typing on reddit, but that just reminded me of how intense alterhuman experiences actually can be.

I wanna make lil sharp claws cuz they look awesome and I wanna climb trees n stuff :3

But I don't know how or what materials to use...

Cant use anything like cardboard or most thin wires as they'll break easily or bend when put under too much weight. I also don't wanna make gloves or similar. One: i sweat and overheat easily with gloves. Two: no good hold when pulling myself up. Nail gel is also a no-go as I don't wanna buy something for just one time, and I wanna be able to take them on and off.

Maybe something in ring form, but can't use metal as it is either too bendable, or I'd have to get them professionally done (too expensive)

I could use resin, but then I'd also need silicone to make molds which... not exactly cheap, but doable. Tho a cheaper option would be appreciated.

About 24/7, every second of everyday, I’m EXTREMELY derealized and depersonalized. I can barely connect my own thoughts to me, I scare myself in reflections bc I just see a familiar person who suddenly showed up, the world around me is so “fake” that it appears almost 2D, etc.

But sometimes, for a few minutes to a few hours a month, I start coming back to reality. Sometimes a little bit, sometimes halfway, sometimes fully

And during these (if I’m not terrified lol), I always notice that I feel much much more connected to certain kintypes than I do when I’m dissociated

Usually while dissociated (hopefully that’s the word💔), I can very easily go “Dude I’m not a robot” or “Well im not an animal, now am I?” And be perfectly fine with that, even believe it half the time, even during shifts (the only kintypes I can’t really do it for are Xanthous Hayfield and Magnus Sato, but even that’s not very very dysphoric for me to say against)

But when im not (or less) dissociated, suddenly I feel so much more like a wolf or any of my kintypes. Usually it’s wolf (at least recently); I could be in a wolf shift while dissociated and still go “well im not a wolf🙄”, but when im not, I feel much more like a wolf looking through the eyes of a human than I ever do while dissociated

I feel like im just repeating myself now lol, you get the point :3

i always felt. so enamoured(?) with the ocean n its beauty,,, and my interests sometimes gravitate towards anythin with a tropical theme (for instance miracle musical) .i also really like dragging out notes when i sing kinda like a siren's song

but also whenever i question an involuntary identity I begin to doubt myself .,.ouugh

i barely also acknowledge any feeling of kintype (my rooraptorness overpowers a lot)
