Win Setters doing IG DM outreach: track these 4 numbers and you'll never have to argue about your value again

A lot of setter gigs get judged on "how many calls did you book this week." That's the last number in the chain, and it's the one you control least.

If you're doing cold IG outreach for a coach or agency, track these four every week instead:

. Reply rate: replies divided by DMs sent. It tells your client whether the targeting and opener work.

. Positive reply rate: replies that show interest, not "no thanks" or "who is this." It's the real test of your opener.

. Conversation rate: positive replies that turn into a real back-and-forth. This one is your skill as a setter.

. Booking rate: conversations that end in a booked call.

When bookings drop, you can show exactly where. Fewer replies means the list is bad, and that's often the client's targeting. Good conversations but fewer bookings means the offer or the calendar link is the problem.

Two other things that help: send from an account that looks like a real person, and keep it around 80 to 130 DMs a day with gaps. Getting a client's account restricted is the fastest way to lose a gig.

I built a tool that tracks these automatically because I got tired of updating a spreadsheet, but a sheet works fine to start.

Setters, what does your client judge you on right now?
