How do i kick somebody out of a study room
On Monday, I was in the library waiting for my study room, as I had an online class. My room reservation was for 3:00 PM, and there were two pledges inside wearing their suits.
I knocked on the door at 3:01 PM and said, “Hey guys, I have this room reserved for 3 PM.” They both responded, “BRUH,” and, while laughing, said, “Show me your reservation.”
I showed them my reservation, and one of them said, “Bro, WTF? I’m in a meeting. You’re going to have to come back later.”
I just went and sat down and joined my Zoom class. They left after 3–5 minutes and said, “Next time, be nicer, jackass.”
I have anxiety, and I would like to know if there was any way I could have handled this situation better.
Thank you.

You did everything right. Next time though, get the front desk involved. You have a reservation, sucks for them, but they should have made one

Tell them you have the room at three, then enter the room and start setting up. Those chuds that need to buy friends can get bent.

Get the front desk involved. There's a reason campus police have an office in the library

You handled it exactly how you should’ve. Most people say oh my bad, and move on. I wouldn’t over think douches being douches

Damn things have changed. When I was a student there mfs went in and blatantly said “get out” and then we left lol 😂

Definitely not a you thing, I’ve been on both sides of asking someone to leave and being asked to leave and the normal response is a ok or sorry and leaving
If something like that happens again, you should go to the front desk and explain and they should help

I think you did great. I wish I could have been there to help. They would’ve hated me lol

Report them to the front desk and have them handle it.
