i have gone through the wierdest past few weeks oml. i got fired, hired, betrayed, and repraised all in a matter of a month. is there anything strange going on for Aquarius?

Anyone else in settings? 😂😂😭

I’m genuinely curious whether this is an Aquarius thing or just a me thing.

I could sit on an eight-hour flight alone, spend hours in a car in complete silence, or stare out of a window for an entire journey without needing music, my phone, conversation or any form of entertainment. And I would be absolutely fine. In fact, I’d probably enjoy every minute of it.

Now, does that mean my mind is quiet? Absolutely not.

I’ll be thinking about something someone said three weeks ago and how incredibly stupid it was. Wondering why a certain person has been acting a bit shifty lately. Analysing their behaviour, their intentions, and probably working out exactly what makes them tick. Then I’ll randomly move on to something about myself that I could improve, question a decision I made six months ago, come up with an entirely new way of doing something, or have a sudden realisation about life that nobody asked for.

All whilst sitting there looking like there’s absolutely nothing going on upstairs.

I think that’s what I find quite funny about myself. I can be completely detached from everything happening around me, but somehow still be mentally invested in about 15 different things. And I genuinely enjoy my own company enough that I don’t feel the need to fill the silence.

Does anyone else get this? Especially other Aquarians? Are we all just silently analysing everyone, questioning everything and happily disappearing into our own little worlds, or is this just me 🤷‍♀️

Firstly, I've never dated one because I just know I wouldn't be able to tolerate it. Huge victim mindset, obsessive, feels like you're walking on eggshells 90% of the time, eugh. Usually immature, incapable of being independent and using individual thought. I've had anxious friends and even they tire me.

I'll quickly draw the line between a regularly anxious person, and someone with anxious attatchment. We all get anxious sometimes, can be a little clingy, and that's ok. But if you've ever been friends with or dated an actual anxious attatchement person you get where I'm coming from.

What makes me even more mad is how they rave on about avoidant people like we are monsters. Their anxiety is what they use to cope, and we avoid to cope. Both suck and yes, both require healing. We are not shallow or evil.

I was an avoidant for majority of my life until I was well into dating my husband (who is secure attatchment, id say) I took accountability and got therapy and now lean toward secure attatchment. Occasionally my avoidant tendencies are triggered but I've learned to deal with them. I feel things very deeply, including empathy, i'm not a sociopath, but due to influences in childhood etc I just developed avoidance as a coping mechanism. That takes therapy to fix, and it does not make me inhumane or morally incorrect.

I do not think avoidants are less feeling. It is because we are so sensitive we tend to avoid feeling as it sets off such a reaction, and we manage that with avoidance so we can stay productive/calm ourselves.

In no way am I justifying avoidant behaviors for harming others, and yes, we should take accountability for our occasional disregard of others. But anxious /other secure people blow our actions out of proportion and exaggerate the damage we do. They act like ghosting someone is the equivalent to murdering an entire family or something.

Anyway would like to hear from other avoidant / secure / anxious perspectives. Open to discussion and a change of mind
