Picked up for $100. Everything works well too needs a ton of cleanup though. This was one of my all-time favorites as a child

Don't do it. I bought this Chinese-made bit to make the slots for my pinball machine. I figured "I'm not even doing but a few cuts." I ended up with a slot way too wide and a bit that tried to catch fire as it warped. Don't buy cheap crap tools to spin at high speeds, it's dangerous and ultimately costs you more money.

For those wondering, no it was not installed backwards or upside down. I cut 3/4 of the slots for the build but when I started on the second side slot to the right of the playfield it suddenly started smoking and did this in a little over 2 foot of trench.

I need to route a slot for a t-moulding in 1/2" plywood. This bit gets mixed reviews but seems appealing because it has multiple sizes for $20.

A buddy of mine picked up an og tempest cab but all he gets is a line on the screen. Would that be the crt itself or the board ?

I found a Capcom Legacy Edition cabinet on Facebook for 200. I managed to bring it down to 100 due to it having a cracked screen. I found a replacement monitor on arcademodup.com for a pretty good price so I'm not concerned about the monitor issue.

I've seen reviews about the control deck being awful and the monitor itself being at slant giving it a line of sight issue for taller people.

Is there any way to fix the line of sight issue? And would I be able to replace the control deck with something similar to a TMNT or Simpsons type of control deck? If that makes sense, haha.

I think the cab is a steal, but I also don't wanna regret buying it if I can't mod the way I want too.

I missed my chance at getting an X-men vs Street Fighter cab for 175 today. Big Sad. That cab looked sick and has great reviews.

So far I’ve paid three parts documenting the process of building their head cabinet from scratch here in the next couple weeks. I should be completely done.
