Video Pink Elephant - One year anniversary

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYFag7_u6kz/?igsh=aWV5aGJkOXRoeWNk

Last year, I filmed the two shows in Montréal, and this is a one-minute video I had fun editing. I hope you'll like it!

Gorgeous video. So sad I missed this tour.

They called it a tour.

Yeah, I wouldn't call it a tour. I'm sure they were fantastic though

The shows were absolutely fantastic. The two I saw anyway.

I’m jealous you got to see them perform the new album. I was waiting for a bigger tour to be announced and it never came.

I hope they relook at these shows and decide to do a bunch more. It’s hard to tell where their heads are at. Everyone seems to be so distant. Dan is focused on Wolf Parade. Paul seems to be stepping away from Santa Pirata and doing his own thing, Richie is doing his own thing, Sarah is yoga’ing, Regine and Win seem to be on opposite ends of the planet… I hope they can realize how much their music means to so many, and regroup.

I’m okay with Dan focusing on Wolf Parade. I’d be happy to hear some new music from those guys.

Great band for sure. I ran into him at Denver airport the day after the Red Rocks funeral show. We talked for about 10 minutes. It was pretty cool.

I can't believe it's been a year. I love the album, the atmosphere and melancholy of it all. I've listened to it plenty over the years and it fits in well with the rest of the discography. I hope they make another album, but I'm so grateful for the 7 we have.

Superb video! Amazing shows! I can’t believe it’s been 1 year already.

I have revisited the album in the last couple of weeks due to the one year anniversary of its release, and it sounds better now than it did then.

Maybe I've adjusted my expectations in that time, but it does have some worthwhile moments. It's certainly not a great album. But it sounds more cohesive and meaningful with the separation of Win and Regine.

It has been a year! A tough year for the band and its fans, but I still thunk Arcade Fire will see brighter days. And for what it’s worth, I liked the album.

The concert was great and the atmosphere in the venue was awesome. I really like this album. I understand where some people might not prefer it, but it feels more purposefully than I think people give it credit for.
