Honestly, a grounded, gritty and realistic version of Green Arrow looks more badass and scarier than a grounded realistic Batman.

Arrow in the show was heavily influenced by Batman rather than comic Green arrow.

I know, what I meant was that if Green Arrow existed in real life, he wouldn't be cracking jokes and instead take his missions seriously. Green Arrow would actually look more cooler compared to someone dressed as a Bat in a real life scenario.

They had run out of names Green Arrow villains by season 2. There aren't a lot of reoccurring villains for Green Arrow in the same way there are for Batman or the Flash.

Bat-Arrow. A Green Arrow show could have been way more fun.

Why was his bow so small in season 1?

That's just a promotional image. It looks fine in the show.

Even I'm the show, it looked short for a semi-traditional recurve.
