It's officially been one month since I've become lead moderator of the sub, and I thought it was a good time to check in with you all.
On our end, we're seeing a nice boost in community activity. We've got a rise in visitors, members, posts, and comments. Stats are up all around. Hopefully, this means a rise in sales for you all too (fingers crossed!)
We wanted to thank you all for how quickly you've taken to the new rules and organization too! You're all champs, really! We've had literally no issues with post tags (not a single one). Please just be alert to the NSFW flairs (and thank you to those who already are!).
Nice!
How Can We Improve?
What I really want to know, especially with the holiday season coming, is how can we help you?
Buyers! How do we help you find the perfect gift?
Sellers! How do we help connect you with buyers looking for that perfect gift?
What can we do to make the community even more productive?
Is there anything that's currently unclear or something you feel could help boost the community?
Let us know!
Our priority for this sub is to ensure buyers have a safe space to purchase from real artists, and artists have a safe space to sell to real people.
As always, if you're not comfortable commenting publicly, ModMail is always open.
Looking For More Mods
Now that we've got the sub's rules ironed out and we know what to expect from the community, we're looking for a few more hands on deck.
Moderation of the sub is fairly simple.
Make sure the post has the information it's required to have.
Make sure NSFW posts have the NSFW filter.
Remove posts that don't meet the requirements and approve the ones that do.
Keep an eye out for AI and scams.
Due to the nature of the sub new mods must be 18+ and we require Discord for communication.
You don't have to chat with us if you don't want to, but we've gotta be able to talk if there are questions or updates and Reddit doesn't have a feature for that anymore.
If you're interested in helping moderate the sub we've got a lovely new button on the side bar (or under "About" if you're on mobile) that allows you to easily apply to be a mod. There's some questions to answer about why you'd like to be a mod (we need to keep the community safe, after all), but we'd be happy for another set of hands or so.
But in closing, we're excited to hear your thoughts, what we can do better, and we'll continue doing what we can to keep the community growing and moving in a positive direction!
Hello everyone! I'm an aspiring artist trying to grow my little shop here in Ko-fi, and id love to share my work with you! I've just started my journey as a humble digital artist, and I've just published my first product in Ko-fi.
I create digital designs inspired by vintage aesthetics, soft and whimsical art, and cute stationery. I also love creating gothic and spooky design with touch of whimsical and dainty theme. My shop includes printable journal and notebook covers, journal and planner templates, cute patterns, printable clip arts, digital artwork, postcards, posters, bookmarks, custom designs, and T-shirt designs. I also use my own font style in most of my designs.
Every design is something I enjoy creating, and I'm hoping to turn my passion for art and design into a little source of income while continuing to improve my skills.
If you enjoy vintage-inspired stationery, cutesy and pretty designs, or unique digital creations, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could take a look at my shop. If you find something you love, consider supporting my work by purchasing a design. Even simply sharing my page or leaving some kind words would mean a lot to me! 🥹💕
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post and support a small creator. Every bit of support helps me keep creating and bringing new ideas to life. 🌸✨
NOTE: I dont have much images of my creations yet, as they were more on posters. I have created my first product and published it in Ko-fi. Feel free to take a look by visiting my profile there. I will be creating more products sooner! Stay tuned!
