Love her. Such a talented gal. Love when she sings in her upper register/higher notes. Nobody in my family believes me but i felt all along that she was mucho talented, all the way back in the Bizaardvarck days.

Im a 49 yr old male btw but i think shes great. I have 3 daughters so im well versed in the Disney princess movies, older Disney Channel stuff, etc.
That was good stuff, i Miss those days with my girls.

I’m also a fan from the Bizaardvark days. She was one of my favorites. There’s just something so unique about the experience of watching her start making music, and then watching her grow as an artists. It’s also a bonus that her tastes grew at the same time as mine; I got into alt rock and punk, she leaned into it with GUTS; then I got into post-punk and new wave, and so did she with this new album. She’s a full package, I feel vindicated every time she does something great.

Aw thats great. Love it. So far it seems like shes an ok gal to look up to as a role model as well. Nothing too crazy (yet) that i know of at least.

I also dig it that she’s a Cure fan. I’ve always loved the Cure. Did you see her singing with Robert Smith, the Cure’s lead singer at that show? Was so fantastic.

It was insane when she did it for the first time. I actually got into The Cure because people were comparing her songs (pretty isn’t pretty & so american) to them, and then all of a sudden they were on the stage together, and now he’s a feature on her album. Such a surreal experience seeing stars align like that. And David Byrne too, he released a cover of her song, sung with her, and is in her new music video. She just keeps me on edge with which legend she’s going to bring out next.
