Marriage and engagement got called off. Been sleeping in the spare bedroom for weeks. I was also told to move out. This has been the most intense moment of my life. All this and in sobriety is tough. Can't take a xanax or smoke weed. Sucks.

I think it’s around mid-November! But there’s a post-shadow period for a few weeks so you may feel the same energy lingering around for another month. Plus add mercury retrograde to the mix!
It’s a good time for introspection and evaluating life so once the planets go direct again, it’ll feel less heavy because you’ve done the hard mental work already!

Which house is it happening for you? You’d need to look at your whole chart to see how it will play out.
It’s very rarely The Return of The Ex - the house where it’s happening in will also show repeat patterns every 8 year

Yeah me too, born when the sun was in Leo. You need to go to Astro-seek.com and put your birth data in.
When you land on the page, select ‘horoscopes’ at the top, and then select ‘birth chart report’ from the list of choices.You need your date, time, and place of birth.
Where your ascendant is will determine the houses in your chart.
The ascendant represents the horizon at the exact time of your birth, and the sign that line falls in is deemed to be a more personal expression of who you are than your sun sign (Leo).

8 years ago exactly, I had to abruptly move due to water leaks in my apartment. It was super destabilizing mentally, but it changed my life for the better in every way looking back. Currently, I’ve had two leaks in our home in the past week lol. No where near as severe, but I think that’s funny.

Never believed in it, but just got dumped a day ago by a person I’ve met early in the year and came to love deeper than anyone I’ve loved over the past 10 years. I thought he was the one.. and my insecurities unfortunately played a part in it, the conflict was brewing since the pre-shadow.

I am very much feeling this retrograde, but I think the cliche social media chatter is mostly irrelevant.
Primarily look at which house Scorpio is in in your chart and go from there. Then look at what planets are ruled by Venus (in Libra or Taurus).
Astrology is less of a math equation with one size fits all solutions and more of a language to decode your internal worlds and the external influences.

I’m a Sag rising in a 12th house profection year (I.e. Scorpio). My sun and moon are ruled by Venus. My natal Venus is my only unaspected planet and only angular planet (conjunct my dsc).
It’s feeling very intense.

um im a scorpio rising pluto 1H + venus in aquarius and im crashing out.. i was so fine with cutting my situationship off and going no contact until he kept messaging me and calling me and i gave in, texted him back now this vicious cycle is back and It’s so fucking difficult to get rid of him. Ugh.. it feels heavy, VERY HEAVY and im crashing out. there’s a lil tornado forming inside me I REALLY crave some peace !

Taurus rising here, my husband is Scorpio rising AND sun. Venus is my time lord as a Taurus rising. We are on the edge of divorce with serious problems, right after what I thought was a time of healing. It’s rough. I’m not sleeping well and work is kicking my ass and I’m depressed. But that’s also just an average day in America right now with everything going on.

I don’t know if things will get better afterwards. The retrogrades right now are mostly about questioning certain relationship patterns or the relationship itself, reshaping things a little, and sometimes letting go of things that simply don’t belong together anymore. But that doesn’t mean that every retrograde automatically leads to a breakup. Maybe things will calm down after the retrograde.
Like I said, I’m affected by it too. I don’t really notice much with him, but to be fair, I’ve genuinely been struggling with this for days. Really. Even during the shadow period, I could feel that I was simply unhappy in my relationship. I constantly have this fear that something is being kept from me. I’m afraid of being cheated on, and I feel like this little detective all the time.
I don’t know how it’s affecting my husband, especially since he’s a Scorpio Sun. We’ll see.1

I think that, as a former cancer patient, as a mother who raised her daughter alone for many years, and as someone who experienced domestic violence from a former partner and went through so many terrible things in life, I know this place very well.
Every time I thought I couldn’t go on anymore, life showed me that another door would open.
Exactly when you believe you can’t take it anymore, a door opens. Trust me.
There were times when I cried because I had no money left. Times when I cried because I couldn’t believe I had ended up with a partner like that. Times when I cried because I was sick and didn’t know what the future would look like.
And somehow, God — I don’t know which religion you believe in — always showed me a way. He opened a door when I couldn’t see one.
And today, I am so grateful for everything I have.
The hard times cannot last forever.
Trust. Trust in life. But most importantly, trust yourself.
Keep going, even when you can’t see the way forward. One day, you will look back and realize that the things you were so worried about didn’t define your life.
And I promise you: in five years, you might look back at this moment and laugh at how much you worried about things that eventually worked themselves out.

Squares bring incredible *pressure* to an issue. It's a grinding, relentless pressure. Pluto and Mars guarantee that there is no ignoring the problem, Mercury being the apex of the t-square means that communication and news is intense. Mercury in Scorpio wants to dig to the bottom of whatever the issue is. It's a detective. With pluto and mars driving the pressure, there's ego involved (mars) that does not like the news. At all. We are right now in the "building up" stage of the pressure. The release comes on November 13 when both Mercury and Venus station DIRECT.

Where can one learn about this? So I can prepare although I don't know how I would even do that, but I have some ideas. This has been the most intense moment of my life. Like I truly believe I won't have to live to see another awful time in this lifetime if that makes any sense.

No one can tell you *exactly* how it's going to end up. If they do, they're guessing. All I would say, as an astrologer, is that you have to look back at the previous venus retros in scorpio as I outlined, look at the themes that arose during those times. Since this is the "closing out" phase, of Scorpio Venus Retrograde, it all depends on how well you learned from the past. Do not expect anyone to do the work for you; scorpio requires deep internal vivesection. It's deeply personal and with mars/pluto involved, there's a power struggle. You either struggle with yourself (the higher form) or create an outside power struggle that eventually forces a confrontation.

Yikes and I have scorpio rising in my charts! I will definitely remember this retrograde for the rest of my life. Maybe I need to do a birth chart explanation because I don't have that much understanding of it. That would probably be a good start!

I’m a natal Scorpio rising, Scorpio Venus, w Pluto and mars in Scorpio conjunct my asc and Im suddenly very detached from someone I was literally just torn up over a few weeks ago. It has me rethinking how I am with my finances as well so I’m sure how you’re affected has a lot to do with the house it’s happening in.

It depends which house and if it hits any of your placements by aspect.
For me it’s my 1st house and last time this happened in 2018, I had an interest come back and acted weird and jealous with a guy I was dating who then broke up with me that night lol. There was also stuff going on with my work and being taken advantage of.
This time around is a lot heavier though since Pluto has been squaring my ascendant and now Mars is in the mix. Things are going rough with work and I may be leaving, also probably moving and wouldn’t be surprised if a certain guy came back.

Me and my partner have been going through a rough time for the past months, I kinda fell out of love, but I’m starting to be in love and have hope again for us now. These past few weeks our connection has been so much better again. Idk much about retrogrades but I have scorpio venus and mars idk how that affects.

I’m a Taurus rising, and Venus is retrograde in my 7H, crossing my DSC and briefly moving back into my 6H house. I honestly don’t know what to make of it.
Right now, my emotions feel really strange. I’m feeling somewhat paranoid and keep thinking that something might be going on behind my back. I’ve become very suspicious, and I’m scared that this could affect my relationship.
It’s already affecting my relationship to some extent because I keep thinking that my husband might be doing something bad or might have done something, even though there’s absolutely no reason to believe that he has. I can feel myself constantly observing the relationship and looking for little signs. I feel like a little detective.
I also don’t really know what this transit means or what might still be coming, and I just hope that we all get through it with as little damage as possible and come out of it with a lot of insight.

Mine is going thru my 6th house- unemployed for a couple years now and haven't heard news from the jobsites I use. This one is definitely for my personal health. I've been working out and exercising since March and have noticed a lot of big healthy changes- but also noticing what isn't helping my health and isn't fun or pleasurable right now. Instead of over eating ive been more conscious of whole grain non red meat protein... which makes sense! My husband has his in his 9th house and his job title change that made him senior over someone he saw as a mentor in his career- now in his eyes his mentor is lazy and pushes off all his job tasks to others and isn't showing up as often for his assigned work he can't delegate. I'm working on my healthy routine (6h) and my husband's mentor (9h) plummeted off the pedestal my husband put him on. I'm SO glad I don't have to worry about love life as much as I need to worry about my health this go around lol.

the reason this one is sparking so much interest is that it's the last time Venus will retrograde in Scorpio (for about 100 years) Venus has an 8 year cycle of completing a 5 point star I the sky, bu it orbits the Sun every 225 days...... everyone seems to be expecting. the worst but tbh, Ive been feeling "unstuck" since mid September....

october 3rd my situationship suddenly gained interest in me again. he's a scorpio rising with natal venus retrograde
my sister has been going nuts about her appearance, she's been so moody cus of it (she has appearance ocd, hasnt been this bad in ages and all of a sudden it's flared up) she's a scorpio moon, libra venus cusping scorpio. she's also been having relationship issues recently
ive noticed some other things with other people,, i was skeptical too but wow theres a lot of wack venus energy going on

It's been pretty on point for me!
Venus rules my Libra 3rd and Taurus 10th. The retrograde starts in my Scorpio 4th, then backs into Libra 3rd. It will eventually station direct very close to my IC and right on my dad’s North Node. My 3rd house is also where I see a lot of my communication and people-pleasing patterns, while the 4th has been showing up through my dad and my foundations around family.
Venus entered the shadow on August 31 in Libra. Looking back at my journal, that day I was writing about family communication, keeping the peace, my dad’s upbringing, and how he has trouble seeing some of the ways he hurts people. Venus entered my Scorpio 4th on September 10, then squared Pluto on September 15. On September 16 my dad and I had a HUGE rupture. He said some things about me that changed the way I understood how he sees me, and I've been struggling to communicate with him since.
Venus stations retrograde at 8° Scorpio, squaring my 8° Aquarius Saturn in the 7th.
When Venus backs into my Libra 3rd, I’ll be watching the communication and people-pleasing part of this really closely. I could see us opening the conversation back up again during that ingress.

Scorpio is in my 6th house of daily routine, health, and habits. I swear, on October 4th, the day after it stationed retrograde, I got sick. I am still sick. I was going to do this whole Venus retrograde challenge where I set goals for the 42 days of it being retro. Well I planned on going to the gym 3 times a week but now that goal has been compromised. It just goes to show that this Venus is really screwing with my 6H more than I thought it would.

I am venus ruled with Saturn and venus in pisces, neptune in capricorn, and libra rising. North node in Libra, Chiron, pof, and also a Saturn stellium of 7 planets. Im getting my sht ROCKED. Ive been burnt out at work(venus in 6th h), and been injured three times already trying to work out, and so stressed from work that Ive had migraines and nausea almost daily. If I dont meditate every day, play minecraft or knit, and cuddle my partner for at least an hour a day each, I will crash out 😭 (someone save me Ive cried every day since it started and dont get me started on how crazy its been at work --this is a time for me to learn how to put myself first and REST/RESET cus Ive been people pleasing too long and I know I have)

i don’t tend to notice the retrogrades, but Venus retrogrades do seem to coincide with a tendency to feel ugly/have some kind of appearance related health issue or challenge and for there to be challenges in enjoying my life fully. this one has been a little more extreme than other transits, but i’m scorpio rising. it’s also only exacerbated issues that were already there.
i tend to ignore transits completely and focus on using my natal chart to make the best decisions for my life, though! otherwise i get super overwhelmed.

Natal retro? Worst that you can ever have, transits? Won't affect you much if your chart is not like from a horror movie. I would say that uranus/pluto/saturn transits will be the worst.

Venus retrograde transited my DSC and natal Venus a few days ago and moved back into my 6th house today. What can I say? I’m getting back to my passion for sports. So far, everything seems to be going well.

I have Venus retrograde natally and my fiance was born during the shadow period of a Venus retrograde. And we met and started dating during a Venus retrograde. Now we are getting married during this Venus retrograde (we got an election done for the best time and day to get married lol)
