So I'm visiting ATL during Halloween weekend and wanted to experience my first EDM event. I'm 37 so I don't know if I want to go to one of the clubs in town.

I'll be staying at Midtown so I was leaning toward Friday's Haunted Fest by Breakaway. Not a fan of Saturday's line up.

I'm hesitating after all the comments about Breakaway and the venue being at the park.

Any recs on a better event or should I commit to the Friday event?

Did this get canceled? I had been waiting on the lineup for weeks and now I am not seeing anything on their socials related to it.

I think everyone who is into house should definitely check out Nezz.

He’s young as hell and usually plays at Roots & Beats. I’ve seen a lot of DJs perform, but his ability to control a crowd is genuinely something else. He’s mixing on 6 channels while doing some live production too. It’s pretty wild to watch in person.

I really think he’s one of the best house DJs in Atlanta right now and it’s surprising how relatively unknown he still is.
He’s playing at Morning Groove this Saturday, so definitely worth checking out if you’re into house music.

Anybody know why Lore in Edgewood hasn’t posted a Halloween event for the 31st??

We’re back at The Pub in East Atlanta Village tonight for another SESSIONS.

I’ll be playing from 7–10pm, digging into the deeper side of house with music from Marsh, Nora En Pure, Ross Couch, Cubicolor, Sebastian Sellares, and plenty more.

Atlanta-native producer ZeXter takes over at 10pm and carries us through 11:30 with a more driving, melodic sound.

If you’re into deep house, progressive house, or just want somewhere to spend a Sunday evening listening to good electronic music, come hang out.

Hey y’all! I’m a raver considering to move to Atlanta from Texas for a work opportunity. I frequent the Concourse Project in Austin which as you might know brings in some of the biggest artists in the world week in and week out. I was wondering what the local scene in Atlanta is like. Do y’all have good venues that bring in big artists? Also, how’s the underground rave scene like? I’m really big on hard techno, schranz, industrial, dubstep and the occasional house. What genres is the Atlanta scene about? What is the rave community like?
