Deal Alert Dirac black friday

Hey everyone. I’m planning to purchase the DIRAC ART bundle, which is currently discounted to $799 from its original price of $947.
I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting until Black Friday for a the yearly potential 20% discount. If the discount is applied to the original $947 price, the final price would be $757.60, which is only a small savings compared to the current $799 price but if the 20% discount is applied to the current $799 sale price, it would drop to $639.20, making it much more worthwhile to wait for a few more weeks.

My questions are:

  1. For Black Friday, would the 20% discount typically be applied to the original $947 price or the current $799 sale price?

  2. Does anyone remember what the DIRAC ART bundle’s discounted price was during Black Friday 2025?

Thanks for your input.

My memory from previous years, (I think 2024) is that it is 20% off $799. Essentially, I believe, $799 is not a sale price, but the list price for the bundle. The $949 price comparison is what you would pay if you bought the 3 components individually.

Correct. I bought it when it was on sale earlier this year and the discount was applied to the bundle price.

I have it and it’s not a magic bullet.  Still think it’s worth it, but wanted to share you will still want to adjust things here and there.

Yeah. I need to watch tutorials. What do you recommend? If in any case, I won’t like it. I think I can just return it. I’m pretty happy with audessey xt32 with the app. I know it’s unconventional but I wanna try DIRAC first before EVO Acoustix.

this video is fantastic. features one of the Dirac engineers and it's pretty comprehensive and to the point. https://youtu.be/X7xAi_I-85Q?is=6KKhJe4dKcE2N6eM

Why dirac before evo accoustix? It's free vs a $900 software and you may find its a big upgrade in sound quality.

I’m ready to pull the trigger on Dirac especially if I get the discounted price next month. I am aware evo acoustix is great but most of the opinions I read is that DIRAC is the best. So I’ll be going for the best first then if I don’t like it then I’m gonna try acoustix.

their site usually applies discounts to the original list price, not whatever sale is running at the time. seen a few people get burned expecting it to stack so just a heads up, would be surprised if you got it for $639

no clue what it was in 2025, that detail slipped right past me. $799 isn't awful if you just want it now but the black friday deal will probably be close to what you calculated off the $947
