Communication No one ever complains about things

I hate that people never complain about things

Basically no one ever wants to complain when something is wrong because they don't want to mess up relationships professionally with companies or with a service. But when companies are not following the law or are going against what they said or just not replying for weeks then we should complain!! We are so timid and don't stand up for ourselves. People don't like to complain but nothing ever changes if they don't and the one person who does complain gets told that no one else thinks it is an issue.

Must be a cultural thing. Are you from the US? Want to hear people complain? Come to The Netherlands. They will say what is wrong and how it could be better.

No, Britain. It just feels like in corporate culture no one ever wants to say what needs to change so nothing does

But I see what you mean, we don't like to pretend. I always thought I'm just Dutch and very direct, but it is autism.

Oftentimes people hunker down because keeping the job is more important than rocking the boat.

There is no room for truth in the corporate world or in business. It’s why I could never keep a job. I didn’t know how to smile, nod and lie.

I think people complain too much about trivial things and they never complain about what isn't socially acceptable to complain about to avoid people thinking them rude. But I personally feel that people complain about the trivial stuff in their life and all I can think is they should be grateful to not have so many worse problems in life especially me being Audhd I struggle so much with my health and focus and life and people should be more grateful to be healthy and neurotypical... not to say neurodivergence is bad, but it does cause a lot of problems. On the other hand people will never complain about something that they think will give themselves a bad image. They want to stay indifferent because it's easier to ignore things than to say something about a problem. So it really depends I think.
