Figured it'd be a cool detail to share with the class since I noticed only the deluxe edition has it

It's a Vorlon Mark. Delenn has one as well, and Delenn Transformed has a two. The Premier version of Kosh Naranek was a bit awkward, because it was a Vorlon Character with the text, "Once played, Kosh Naranek is treated as a group instead of a Character."

Vorlon marks are the little ships shown above. Shadow marks were little shadow ships. Destiny marks were the triluminary. Conspiracy marks were a capital Psi. Doom marks were a little flaming eye thing, Strife marks were a little seven pointed star.

Vorlon and Shadow marks reflected a faction's loyalty to the Vorlons or Shadows respectively, and were used to gate access to their resources (such as their ships and characters), with Kosh being a way to temporarily gain Vorlon marks, if you needed a few extra. Unfortunately, his card's also not especially useful.

That was it, I couldn't remember.

It's genuinely hard to parse on some cards, because the inks are so oversaturated, it ends up looking like an evil tomato.

It was just a change in the way they indicated cards which give Vorlon marks.

Great game and I still have a box of it in my closet. My favorite to play was the Non-Aligned worlds faction.
