hello I am an american living in the imperial core. early in my political journey I was (and still am to some extent) consuming political analysis from american leftists, but for awhile now I have felt like a lot of their analysis is completely tainted by living in the imperial core, and that I needed better perspectives, especially from those affected by american imperialism. my last straw was the defense and support of graham platner even though he served in the military, which was in complete contradiction to how they spoke about people who served in the IDF. it just felt like they had no principled views and steadfast convictions in leftist thought.

I have been watching a lot more of George’s content lately and he has really opened my eyes to what the imperial core looks like from the outside looking in, and the analysis of people living in the imperial core being “leftists” because they want more of a share of the spoils of imperialism. i’m wondering where I can find more viewpoints like George’s to help me deconstruct leftism inside the heart of empire. I am really committed to being anti-imperialist and I want to be staunch in those beliefs.
