I always wonder how people in wheelchairs or with strollers navigate these situations. I would just walk on the street around the white pickup, but obviously that's difficult and possibly dangerous for some if they can't see oncoming traffic

I was walking with my son in a stroller and two dogs on a leash. I went in the street luckily this is a very chill and quiet neighborhood minus the idiots who park like this. Thankfully very little traffic and any that does come by is usually slow and careful. For people in a big bustling city this would be super scary and dangerous to go in the street.

I lived in a neighborhood with sidewalks like this years ago. I did not like how I couldn't utilize my whole driveway. I never blocked the sidewalk. Know what I did? I moved somewhere that wasn't like that. Problem solved.

From a parking perspective what I really hate are neighborhoods where the sidewalk is like 6ft from the road so that theres barely enough space for a vehicle between the sidewalk and garage and "wasted" driveway between the sidewalk and road. Granted all my life I've lived where there wasn't sidewalks so you had all the space between road and house/garage to park.

My mom was incredibly unstable and needed a walker. Even then she often fell. When we encountered cars like this on walks she would have to step off the curb into the street. Meaning i had to hold on to her while she moved around because going up and down over the curb like that posed a serious risk and often made her fall or stumble. It was really dangerous for her but unavoidable when assholes parked like this.

That’s not parking, that’s an aggressive expansion of the driveway into public infrastructure.

Call police non emergency and tell them the address. Not even on the driveway, obviously illegally parked.

I’m honestly starting to believe these car brains can handle people walking so they will park like this to stick it to us

Have you seen how small driveways
Are these days. Go find something else to complain about

He has two full sized SUVs on the other side of his truck that fit fine in his driveway, and there is plenty of street parking.

Wrong sub, squirt.
