Tourism Question Late October Weather?!
I’m going to South Andros, late this October/early November to do some bone fishing! With the El Niño this year, what do yall think the weather will be like for my trip? I know it’s the “end” of hurricane season, but just hoping it won’t be nasty cloudy rainy the whole time I’m there.

i wouldn’t expect it to be cloudy and rainy the entire trip. october can bring plenty of showers in the bahamas, with temperatures around 27–28°c, but you can still get good stretches of fishing weather between them. el niño may reduce atlantic storm activity this season, but it doesn’t eliminate the risk, so keep an eye on tropical weather updates as your dates get closer. for bonefishing, i’d build in a little flexibility and check with your local guide about wind and water conditions, since those can matter just as much as rain. weather details

I have a trip to Nassau from Oct 28-Nov 5. Showers are always short lived. The suns back out before you know it with a rainbow

Because of El Niño and the Sahara dust this summer it’s been a beautiful mild fall. Practically hurricane activity in the Atlantic, the water is still warm and more than comfortable for swimming, the days are still 30°c with comfortable cool nights and that should continue for the next month or two. Small short rain showers that should be easy to avoid if you’re at see and often pass quickly regardless.

It should be fine.
