Question - Health BEL with strange eyes

We picked up an adult BEL from someone who could no longer care from her 6 days ago (on Sunday). We thought she may be coming into or out a blue shed cycle but the more we see her eyes, we notice more mottling and not much a distinguishable pupil. She does she away a little if we wave her hand close to her face. We have not fed her yet, she’s not due. She’s active and exploring and seems all good. But just curious if anyone else has seen this.

Also edit to add: the eyes haven’t changed since we got her which is why we are a little skeptical this is shed.

I dont have an answer but my golden kid has the same eye marks but in gold. Edit: google ball python heterochromia and a couple similar posts pop up:)

It’s actually not heterochromia! This is just normal BP eye color, which helps them camouflage into tall grass by helping the eye blend into the (typical) eye stripe. It’s easier to see on BP’s that aren’t amelanistic though ofc

Moirai has this in gold! It's very cool, I didn't know snakes had eye color variations like this.
