New ball hasn’t popped yet is this normal ?

Post image

I got her September 3rd she has eaten 4 times since. Once weekly first was a pinky mouse since I heard the first should be small. Then a small mouse then the last two were rat pups. The fourth meal was last night

Follow the !feeding guide to get a rough idea of the prey sizes she should eat. Ball pythons have slow metabolisms which means they will poop less often. Once every 3-4 weeks is normal from my experience

We recommend the following feeding schedule:

0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.
