Hello everyone!

I’m an independent comic artist and illustrator, and I’m currently working on Volume 2 of my comic book, Altered Blood, a science-fiction story set in a world where humanity has disappeared.

Here's my set of Kelly Green Dargaud editions

Hi everyone!
I’m a professional comic book artist and illustrator with over 40 years of experience in the industry, and I’m currently looking for new comic book and illustration projects.
The pages shown here are from a story set between the United States and Italy, from the late 1930s through the beginning of World War II. I illustrated and painted every page entirely by hand using traditional watercolor.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with publishers including Marvel Comics, DC Comics, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, Soleil, Dupuis, Delcourt, and Sergio Bonelli Editore.
I’m available for:
Comic books
Graphic novels
Comic book covers
Character & environment illustration
Illustrated books
Historical and period stories
Fantasy, adventure, noir and realistic projects
I’m particularly interested in working with writers, independent publishers, creators and studios looking for an experienced artist who can handle a project from pencils through finished artwork.
If you have a project in mind, feel free to contact me. I’d be happy to take a look at your script or concept and discuss the details.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my work!

Seccotine recently got her own spin-off album, and I really like the pink raincoat Elric Dufau gave her! So here is some fanart of her in that. If you haven't checked out the new album yet, I highly recommend doing so! She gets tons of other cute outfits aside from this one.

Hello, I'm searching a bande dessinée from around 2002-2008.

In my memory it was in two tomes, possibly translated from italian (I read it in french). The thing I remember the best were the drawing and coloring style, who were very close from Zoran Janjetov in The Technopriests, but I checked he didn't draw it.

It was in a medieval/renaissance setting. I have very little recollection of the story, appart there was two guys and one girl, and quite early in the story the girl is harmed and then keep in a deep sleep in a blue bubble or blue liquid, and one of the guy want to find a way to heal her.

Does it ring a bell for anyone?

Post:
I’d like to share some pages from Amiculus, Volume One, an independent comic written by Travis Horseman and originally published several years ago.
Amiculus is the first volume of a trilogy and follows a group of mostly fictional characters through one of the most dramatic periods in history: the final years and fall of the Roman Empire.
The story takes place several centuries after the birth of Christ, during a time of political upheaval, the arrival of the Barbarians, and the death of the young Emperor. It was a particularly demanding project for me, mainly because of the amount of historical atmosphere, architecture, environments and intricate details required for the artwork.
What I especially enjoyed about working on Amiculus was the opportunity to build such a rich and atmospheric world. The settings are often almost characters in their own right, with enormous attention given to the architecture, costumes, landscapes and small details that help bring that period to life.
The characters were equally fascinating to draw. They have very different personalities and motivations, and the story carries a strong sense of drama and pathos. Although it is fundamentally an historical adventure, the book also contains some darker and genuinely horror-influenced elements, which give the story an unusual atmosphere.
It was a challenging project, but also one of the most interesting independent comics I’ve had the opportunity to work on.
I wanted to share some of the artwork here because I think the combination of Roman history, adventure, drama and horror makes Amiculus quite unique.
I hope you enjoy it, and I’d be very interested to hear what you think about the artwork and the world of the book.

These are the English translations of Grandes Heroes by Enric Sio, Carlo Marcello and various other artists.

These are extremely rare and were published in India by a publisher called Interprint in the 90s. Still searching for the other volumes.

Sorry about my English, i'm french Canadian!

But I just want to let you know Roger Leloup at 92 years old, just released "Yoko Tsuno 32 : L'intelligence intemporelle"

The album was out in August in Europe, but will be for Québec/Canada this September 22.

I try to find some information about other language or release, but didn't find any big information!

Hello, I recall the Sator Square being mentioned in Corto Maltese.

ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sator_Square

I thought it was in the Venice album; I leafed through it but couldn't find it. Does anyone know which *Corto* album mentions the Sator Square?

Thanks.

I wanted to share my work on this project, which is very important to me. I hope that one day you'll be able to find it in your local bookstores

Basically, it's so utterly immersive from panel 1 that I just have no idea what I'm looking at, who I'm supposed to follow, and so forth. I REALLY want to like this series, but I'm totally, utterly lost, even like 10pages in. (note: French isn't the problem)

Also posted my headache there:

Hi! I usually read Asian comics (manga, manhwa, etc.), and I’d like to try some European comics for a change. Unfortunately, I don’t know much about them, so I’m not really sure what’s good and what’s not. I’m hoping you can help me out!

In general, I really enjoy vampire stories, exorcisms, battles against demons, and occult themes in general. I’m looking for something with that kind of atmosphere.

I’d really appreciate any recommendations!

P.S. It would be great if the comics you recommend have also been published in Polish.
