As we do every year, we are asking for a bit of your time to fill out the census. We use this info as a way to understand each other and our community better, as well as to help recognize and understand possible cultural differences.
We are no longer including the discography in the census as overall responses have trended sharply downward in recent years. The discography portion takes a lot of time and effort, and it is very disheartening when we only receive 650 responses (2025 ARMY Time Census).
The census takes approximately 3 minutes to complete and includes:
Personal: you will be asked a few questions about yourself to get an idea of the subreddit demographic
Shared Interests: general music and Korean interest
The census will run from 15 OCT - 31 DEC 2026 KST. Once the census closes, we'll take a few days or so to compile and then post the results for all you data luvers out there.
We are but human, so if you stumble upon anything that is missing or if you have any questions or encounter issues when filling out the form, please let us know in the comments below or via modmail so we can look into it!

Last year I was such a baby reddit ARMY I waited until the last possible second to fill out the census because I wasn't sure I even qualified. Now less than a year later, I am allll the way in the rabbit hole and I'm never finding my way out lol.

I’m intrigued to see that the question “How did you find BTS?” didn’t have an option that was a music platform. I don’t recall how this question was worded in prior years, but I typed in my answer to be Spotify.
Or should I have interpreted it like: even though I first heard them when Boy With Luv came up on a Spotify playlist, that prompted me to look them up on YouTube - then my answer should’ve been YouTube?
Just finished the 2026 census. Can't wait to see the results!! Waiting to see if r/bangtan bias is still Yoongi. How many more ARMYs we gained from June 2025 and from the Arirang album. And the increase in ARMYs who got to see BTS in concert, in a theater, or livestream because of the Arirang World Tour.
P.S. My bias is Yoongi, I became ARMY in August 2025, I saw the Goyang day 2 concert in theaters on April 11, 2026, and traveled to Foxborough, Massachusetts to see BTS on August 6, 2026.
