Welcome to the Weekly Battlecats Thread. This discussion thread is for the purpose of containing content that doesn't belong in it's own post, such as "how do I beat X level" or "which of my cats should I upgrade next".
Make sure to indicate the levels of your cats for questions about completing a level, or your progress in SoL, ITF etc for questions about your cats. The more information you give, the easier it is for your fellow players to help you.
You might also be here to celebrage (or know what it is in the first place), which is short for Celebrate and Rage; rant about your foul luck or brag that you rolled that cool uber.
I will be starting to restrict myself to one uber/legend rare per lineup and I just want to know what last non uber unit I should use to round out my general team. I am mid ul (specifically before doron) and have most advent units except for like brutals. (except for jetpack)
Todays been busy- finished 4 crown SoL, started in on Zero Legends, finished filibuster outbreak, and got my legend ticket….
I had no expectations- figured it was just going to be a dupe, but… I don’t think that “legend” ticket could have been any more “legendary” than this…!
Titans are not recommended unless they are very high levelled. Best to bring something like Can Can or research combos instead. Bahamut also works well for dealing with zombies quickly while you can save Kalisa for the Angels.
Honestly I find the Zombie waves to be dealt with quite easily if you just spam generalist attackers, A.Baha can probably be reserved in case of an emergency like if Kalisa somehow dies too early.
The cat shrine hasn’t given me a single gold catfruit ever, after spending nearly 150mil exp on it, mostly the 5mil deals. Also it looks like this now. Help??
Catseye Cave (actual name Cymophane Cave) is a Superior Enigma stage that drops 1 random Catseye with the following odds:
I would recommend other methods of obtaining Catseyes since they are more consistent and offer more, such as GAMATOTO (especially when Zoned in), Proving Grounds (Saturday and Sunday), Legend Quest (when that happens), Heavenly/Infernal Tower, Cat Shrine (costs 3,000,000 XP per Catseye), and Abyssal Stages (only Uber and Dark Catseyes).
is there a way to beat bahamut trials without all the timing? i really hate timing my cat spawns and learning about the stupid bahamut explosion waves is annoying & confusing >:(
The only way without timing is just waiting for pacman collab for blast immune meatshield, or having an unngodly strong floating tank like heavily boosted octopus.
Based on my currents Ubers, which of the current banners should I pull on? Or should I save for a future banner?
I was thinking Dynamites since I literally have none so I don’t need to worry about dupes but it’s such a high risk high reward banner, especially since Akane joined and at first glance… she doesn’t seem favourable.
As for the Iron Legion, every uber is solid, except maybe Carrowsell and Aethur is already helping me fine with zombies.
Curseblast foundation (relic) is a common first choice since relic doesn't have treasures. You can do the rest in order of how much you hate that trait.
For styles, Waterblast (surge) is good to have because of surge's prominence in late UL. Breakerblast (toxic) is also nice since there aren't many toxic counters.
Currently trying to decide if I should get Thermae or wait until almightiesa and aim for Hades. I have siege walker and Cat-a-pult but I'm very early game so that isn't going to be viable for a while. If I do get Thermae then I will straight up have no cat food or rare tickets left
I think saving for Hades or another uber would be better. Both Diabolosa and Katapult should still be strong enough for zombie stages, especially if using both in the same lineup. Once late game hits those two with Talents, TFs, and UFs will still be more than enough.
Alright yeah that is probably batter, and Going for Hades will keep me on the same track as Kai for the premium tickets since for this next Galaxy Gals banner she Is too far away. I know like Thundia and Windy are better but like it’s Kai yknow? I have watched videos of this game for years so ima aim for the units I’ve really liked over that time
I recently beat Inferno Tower floor 50 and i got uril but idk how good he is I hear that he's one of the best special cats but is DPS isn't sound that good
His surge quadruples his attack so he actually has like 20K DPS if the surge connects (which it most likely will), so he actually has pretty good stats for his cost and cooldown
Plus his damage is magnified even further if you invest levels in him and thanks to his strong against aku/relic ability
His DPS is unexpectedly good because the Surge means he’s constantly dealing damage with very little downtime. Couple the fact that his survivability is crazy good and his cooldown is super fast, he ends up being a shockingly strong backliner. Of course, he won’t put up equal performance to ubers like Dasli/Phonoa/Luna/Lunos etc. so you’ll probably mainly use him for Relic/Aku/Behemoth and 4 Crown stages, which he totally obliterates.
Made it to Infernal Tower Floor 46, and I need some tips for a lineup I am building: if I include Thunder Jack, what form should I use? Target Angel or target Zombie?
Almighties was just in the shop (without guaranteed ubers) so I would expect it to return with the guarantee in a month or two. Since you said you're new, I'd save up for the almighties. Dynamites is solid but has a few bad pulls. You may get something good from dynamites, but personally I'd save my cat food for the next guaranteed Almighties (strong generalists early to mid game with helpful specializations late-game), Ultra Souls (anti angel but extremely versatile), or Dark Heroes (good anti-alien for ItF and CotC that stay strong late game).
Both Uberfest and Epicfest have great pulls (Phonoa, Dasli) but also plenty of bad ones. You should be using all your rare tickets (but not cat food) on those two banners. If you don't already have some good pulls from either, it doesn't really matter which you choose. There may be a Superfest next lunar new year (in Feb) which has the ubers from both if you want to save your tickets for that, but if you don't have many ubers it may be better to just spam the next uber/epicfest.
lucifer eats aku and summer rabbit is good specifically for rajakong. Poseidon has decent anti metal/zombie freeze niche. good for that one specific level in heavenly tower with the metal/zombie cyclone. saki TF is good in early uncanny for sniping relic enemies and Kaihime is alright at tanking zombies, gains sage slayer in UF which is good way later on.
My gosh, that was a disaster. 2 Fraud Researchers constantly attacking the Metal Sloth and it still took them like 20 seconds just to land a single crit. Jizo and A.Baha kept surviving, Jizo because of Survive and his range and A.Baha because the peons would make him attack and be able to avoid the Le'noir + Two Can attacks. They clogged the Cat Limit and wasted most of the first Sonic Fever. Then because I couldn't spawn anything the peons just pushed all the way to the base without being killed, the Sonic Fever gauge was at like 90% for a whole minute. I got a second Sonic Fever but at that point there was only 3 seconds left on the clock.
Should I get lkd, Jizo, or rice ball talents? They are pretty much the only talents I need at my point in the game. Also which talents of each should I get?
LKD is irrelevant if you have kasa jizo ultraform and rice ball immunity isn't so valuable that you need it because it is good at role compression but there is usually better options available
Also jizo should get stats talent and toxic immune but if you have surge immune orb S then surge resist would be great too but
Yes. He requires ALL talents(save wave resist) and LV60(LV50 will do, but is significantly worse). He will pay his value after all the investment however.
which of the 3 banners should i pull considering i'm in into the future chapter 1 and still in the beginning the stories of legends stages(i didn't even unlock ururun wolf yet)?
Cat Food for guaranteed Almighties, Rare Tickets for Uberfest/Epicfest is usually the way to go. Right now I think Dynamites, Iron Legion and Nekolugas are running right? Dynamites can be good but the risk of getting a bad Uber is quite high, Iron Legions is solid but doesn't really help you with ItF, Nekolugas is kinda meh but becomes more valuable late game.
Should I evolve Ring Girl cat into Pizza cat, Castaway Cat into Seafarer Cat, both, or neither(I'm new and have 3 Epic Catfruit)? Also which of these events should I roll in? Edit: i'm on ITF chapter 3.
After all this time, I only just now realized that you can use the Event Gacha to switch tracks on the normal ticket tracker (eg, if you pull a Cat CPU from the Event Gacha and your next Lucky Ticket pull is also a Cat CPU, it will give you something else and switch tracks). I have probably missed out on a handful of dark catseyes by not utilizing this tech.
Good, UF is also good. Destroys her targets and is great for stages like Dojo 12-3 and Poultrio, but if you have stuff like Luna, Lunos, or just a ton of strong ubers then you can skip her for now.

I recently noticed in the seed tracking website that the platinum ticket pool will be changed (like completely refreshed) today, is this a regular change or it follows some sort of rules/pattern? Thank you
You can rush the first 3 & if you give bahamut at lv 40 a damage up orb against angel of at least b rank he clears the last one like cake, js make sure to bring smth for gravey
Is thundia UF worth it? Have 36 dark catseyes and kinda wanna spend xp till event is still here. Other possible UFs are Catapult, Subterra and have CCH and Baby cat on my track. Am not spending dark catseyes for any UT, too much invest for too little return most of the time
Yes, one of the best ubers in the game and 3rd strongest UF. Unless you already have Cosmo you should get her, and even then it might still be a good idea.
Do have cosmo, but due to having both Lunoses battefield moves too much for him to be useful in normal battles, only really use him in bosses. Does Thundia fare better in this case?
Thats very low amount of ubers xd, funnily enough reds are one of the trait i struggle most with in endgame since not enough damage to nuke them usually so maybe will get Thundia
Fishman and Seafarer cannot land hits on Raging Bahamut, and Octo will get shredded because he simply has too much DPS. Use attackers with 320+ range like Crazed Gross or Dragons instead.
First of all, haniwanwan miniwaves are guaranteed, secondly, simply rush the stage down. Using slime to kil the those guys, then spawning bahablast, spamming crazed cow, courier and crazed cat is enough to murder the stage with sufficient unit levels.
Is best of the best worth my rare tickets? I know the uber chance isn't as high as uberfest or epicfest, but some of the ubers look really good (also I want more legend rares)
The tickets are yours, you decide what to do with them.
The usual advice for better results is spending them in Fests. But if you're feeling lucky, no one is stopping you from rolling BotB. I hope you get at least 3 Legends
Hopefully next time it comes around she'll be in a better place for you. There's a number of these very rare units, so it's wise to pace yourself and don't burn all your resources trying to get them immediately if they're far away. Unless you like spending a ton of money!
