I have not seen this full game edition but my friend once got me a Beatles expansion pack and most of the questions were rather deep cuts. Not really things a casual fan would know ranging largely from very specifics about the band and their entourage’s personal lives in relation to the group and very specific things about tracks and albums (as well as international releases).

My SIL is a huge Beatles fan (as am I, obviously), and I got this for her last Christmas (the Quick Play Edition specifically). The majority of the questions (though certainly not all) are geared toward obsessive fans who have read everything ever written about the band and remember every single little detail about their lives. Lots of minutiae stuff where you think, "Why would anyone even know this?" It got somewhat boring fairly quickly and we kinda just gave up and began shuffling through the cards, picking out the easier questions lol.

Honestly this is for the most extreme obsessives. Which I'd thought I was. I am not. 😂

I'm convinced 99% of people that bought this were never able to actually play it. I received it as a gift years ago and the questions are ridiculously niche, you seriously need a group of historian's to play this game.

I’m sure even The Beatles themselves would have a tough time with some of the questions. lol

Yeah I bought this thinking it would be a fun way to show off to friends and family. But damn, I couldn't even answer most of the questions. The facts are truly trivial. Like, what the name of the sandwich shop George visited while writing I Me Mine? Those sorts of questions.

The band was originally called The Moops

I’ll never forget the first question I read of the first ever game I played: what’s the name of the plane that The Beatles took on their first US tour?

So, that kind of questions.

(Clipper Defiance. I haven’t forgotten since)

as a more modern fan who hasn't learned much about their american touring, the fact that there's a whole category about that got me stumped pretty much every time it came up

What are the categories?

ETA- just looked it up.

  • Songs
  • Movies
  • History
  • Albums & Singles (or Albums)
  • The Beatles in America (or American Tours)
  • On Their Own (post-Beatles solo careers)

I have the Beatles trivial pursuit expansion. It's extremely hard.

We have a different version, it’s not impossible but it’s pretty tough. Ours has a With the Beatles cover.

I wish I had someone to play it with. None of my friends or family are really into the Beatles like that.

Not bragging, but I'm going to win that game!

It’s out there online (eBay and other sites) for $20-30, but you’re probably not going to find it in person at a retailer.
