Best New York style pizza

Standard is not high so any ny style recommendation is appreciated
Preferably with outdoor sitting

As someone who lived in NYC for 14 years, I am sorry to say that Tube Station is the best I’ve had here. It’s passable, but would be happy to hear if someone has a better suggestion.

Great Leap in Lido is probably the closest these days (& has really nice outdoor seating). Tube Station is the closest if you want Sbarro.

Sbarro is a good comparison. 26 million people in this city and there are like 2 halfway decent pizza spots.

  1. Pie Squared
  2. Bulgari Hotel (Expensive but pretty good)

This honestly might be the worst pizza town in the world. Like you wouldnt expect some tier 3 nowhere spot to have anything ...but surely somewhere in this city should have something OK, but after 10 years here I have to go on vacation for pizza.
