Fun fact: Liberty Biberty was created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop, making him fair game for this sub. I feel like we should take advantage of that.

You could also argue The Happytime Murders is also fairgame, especially since Jim Henson's own son directed it.

While that movie should be considered fair game, I doubt there's a frame in that shitfest that even this sub could make funny.

Plus, the backbone of this sub is turning wholesome children's content into edgy adult jokes. I can tell by the title alone that that movie is already "edgy and adult" and therefore is not fun to parody

The best part of not having cable or ads-included streamers is I don't know what the fuck this is.

I youtubed it. I'd recommend if you're feeling angry about anything I'm your life that you do the same. It will make whatever you're feeling angry about seem trivial in comparison. People spent money and time making this shit.

After those stupid assholes already had Doug and the dipshit that kept saying liberty biberty
It’s amazing that there’s someone gainfully employed within that company and was like, “We’ve already got 2 really annoying commercial characters, we should make a third!”

Wait aren't the FNAF movie animatronics made by the Jim Henson Company as well? We're really sleeping on those.

I’m not American, what is this?

u/Nerdenator 2d ago
Most states (maybe all?) require you maintain an insurance policy if you plan on operating a motor vehicle on public streets. There's a ton of advertising for car insurance as a result and this is the latest marketing abortion to be forced upon the American people.

I was certain it was AI

It very clearly isn’t. I would suggest upping your AI literacy if you thought that it was AI.

The Coca-Cola puppet at their store in New York is a Jim Henson Workshop product but I don't think we can use that.

am i the only one that doesn’t hate liberty biberty? i mean, limu emu was better but he’s not that bad

u/CheatsySnoops 2d ago
It's whatever IMO, although the name is pretty dumb. They should've shelled out the cash for an emu puppet made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop instead.

The original ad they did with that line (but the guy, not this thing) was funny, but like with pretty much all insurance campaigns, it was beaten into the ground, and it's even worse now.

u/A50redit 2d ago
At least it wasn't ai unlike most other insurance companies using AI for their commercials

I never even understood the hate for Liberty Biberty

u/Funkey-Monkey-420 2d ago
he’s purposefully incoherent, so he probably was just annoying. and of course annoying is the worst thing you can be on the internet

While that fact's fun level is subjective, the meme is top notch
