Big Bear - This Weekend

What’s up. I am headed to big bear this weekend for a bachelor party. We have a nice Airbnb house and are planning for Oktoberfest on Saturday.

Any recommendations or things to do while we are there?

TIA!

Bear Mountain Golf Course is an awesome little 9 hole track. You hit the ball further in the elevation. It rocks.

We love the biking/hiking trails. Pretty even terrain. Great walk to burn off the Oktoberfest hangover 🤕

We were looking for a good hike to do. Castle rock trail any good or any other recommendation?

Castle rock is one of the most popular trails and it’s great. Town trail, bobsled, pineknot. Woodland trail is a short loop but you can always keep walking along the pedal path that follows the lake. Look up all trails. It’s an app and shows every hike pretty much up here and shows pictures. Lots of beautiful fall foliage up here so it’s a great time for hiking. Have fun!

PCT to the "eye of god" is a pretty cool hike.

The Mineshaft Coaster. Oh and don't bother with buying the post ride vid unless you like the minute or so clip that's posted when you exit. Take a warm shirt or light jacket though. It''s going to be chilly.
