For some reason it’s often called aircraft paint stripper. Hardware stores should have it. Do it in open air and let it sit for a good while before coming back and scraping/ sanding

Just looked it up, apparently it was originally designed for airplanes which used a heavier duty paint than cars and stuff. You can't sand airplane bodies too because they are thin.

Yeah, I've used it quite a bit in the past and it's what works the best in my opinion. Spray it on and wait 10-15 minutes and the paint just starts wrinkling and peeling off.

Yep aircraft remover for the win. I’ve used it on so many things.

buy paint strippe, spray it on and let it sit for 20 mins, then go back and remove everything easily.

I just stripped a tank with that orange stuff. I think it's called citristrip. Tried the aircraft one, they removed the chemical that did all the work (at least in the ones I could find) tried the orange stuff from a leftover home renovation, worked absolutely great
