As cunning as a fox who’s just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University?

Indeed. And has moved on and is now working for the UN at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning.

This enhappies me as much as a Frenchman who's just invented a pair of self-removing trousers.

I'm a Brit who adores The Office and has fond memories of Blackadder. I was a bit too young to watch Blackadder Goes Forth when it aired, but I would still recommend it to anyone! That season is like six episodes, and the way it ends is moving. For a comedy show to deliver such a poignant ending is really respectfully done.
