Discussion Does anyone know anything about the Elvis car that’s covered in stickers?

As the title suggests, I was in Leura the other day and saw a very cool sedan, completely covered in Elvis stickers (literally the entire thing). With an Elvis decal on the back.

Does anyone know the lore of this vehicle? I swore it had a phone number but can’t remember and was too stunned to take a picture before it zoomed off.

There's an Elvis impersonator/fanatic that lives at Bullaburra. He often has his Elvis van parked on, I believe, Genevieve St. You can see it as you go past on the highway. He used to leave it quite often on the shoulder/parking are out the front of the RAAF base at Glenbrook.

Awesome. I live a couple minutes away from Leura mall and had never seen them before but felt like they might be local. I also frequent Glenbrook cinema so I’ll keep an eye out! Thanks for sharing :)

I believe it’s an Elvis impersonator and they must be doing a few gigs?
I saw that car a few months back in Ktown.

Yeh I saw the car about a couple of months back in Ktown a few times, once near the loading dock at the RSL - I assumed they were performing there…

Ha ha. That’s EXACTLY where I saw it too. But it was out the from of the RSL.

It was parked in the RSL parking lot a few weeks ago when they had the Elvis Festival on there…no surprises lol

Is this a blue mountains thing or just a car visiting? I’ve never seen this car in my life.

Neither. But someone said there’s a local Elvis fanatic/impersonator living in Bullaburra. Others have said they’ve seen the car around Katoomba RSL (where there are often Elvis shows).

So I guess it’s a mountains thing! Extremely cool. Perhaps I shall call the RSL and see when the next show is 😝

I remember him singing in the Mid Mountains garden festival a few years ago! He had a nice garden and lots of Elvis memorabilia
